Well, good morning to everyone.
Wishing a relaxing tuesday to you all. It is shaping up to be a beautiful day. Now, as we know some people on here define a a beautiful day differently.
Guess the couple of people who would prefer this kind of a morning to greet them?
The rest of us can ponder having a cup of java in sunnier conditions.

Okay, technically, Baumgartner may be the first person to do this, but it is clear that Star Fleet had developed this technique sometime before 2258 when Cadet Kirk, Lt Sulu and Chief Engineer Olson space-jumped from a shuttlecraft onto a Romulan drilling platform suspended in the atmosphere over Vulcan. Some may argue that this took place in an alternate timeline created by the emergence of the Romulan mining ship Narada from a black hole in 2233, and again that would technically be correct. However, in the primary timeline in the year 2293, James T Kirk performed a recreational orbital skydive witnessed by Pavel Chekov and Montgomery Scott. The next day, all three attended the ceremonial launching of the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-B, during which the ship was damaged by an energy ribbon, causing Kirk to be sucked into a temporal nexus.

USS Enterprise now that's turning back the clocks!
Phasers, energizing & those paper mache rocks,
Scotty was always on about how he needed more time!!!
The chief engineer who tended to whine,
Cantankerous Bones uttering shocking words of dread,
How many times did he say "Jim..he's dead"??
I think that Sulu was the guy who could handle a sword,
& a fair maiden once distracted Chekov from getting overly bored,
Remember when Spock jammed & sang with the brothers?
& I think he got lucky once cause he'd misplaced his druthers,
Sulu was focused on warp back to one,
He was usually too busy to have that much fun,
Lieutenant Uhura was smart & she could also sing,
& Captain Kirk was a guy who had fling after fling,
Romulans, Kingons & Harourt Fenton Mudd,
& the episode with Nomad was a bit of a dud,
Spock was a Vulcan who preached logic & theories,
& raised his eyebrow when others made queries,
Remember when the tribbles took over the ship?
Khan & his Wrath, wasn't that a pip?
& I will not omit Yeoman Janice or Miss Chapel the nurse,
Cause they were also players & belong in this verse,
I don't remember who was killed & then brought back to life,
But when you work on a starship there is bound to be strife,
I will now retire to my quarters for a bit of a kip,
& think this thing over & perhaps have a nip.
