A man and woman were having a quiet, romantic dinner in a fine restaurant. They were gazing lovingly at each other and holding hands.

Their waitress, taking another order at a table a few steps away, suddenly noticed the man slowly sliding down his chair and under the table, but the woman acted unconcerned.

The waitress watched as the man slid all the way down his chair and out of sight under the table. Still, the woman appeared calm and unruffled, apparently unaware her dining companion had disappeared.

The waitress went over to the table and said to the woman, "Pardon me ma'am, but I think your husband just slid under the table."

The woman calmly looked up at her and said, "No, he didn't. He just walked in the door."

No not I!!! Just got in and haven't had dinner either! Was at the music fest down here at Woodbine Park since around 2 and just had a few snacks.....enjoyable even though there was a bit of a rain shower! I'll try to put up a few pics at some point!

Good Evening Qsters. And thanks for the warm welcome back. How long has it been? I disappeared about the same time Boo changed the format/layout of our site; needless to say I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate around here. It's amazing how comfortable we get and how much of pain it is when you go to click on something and, it's just not there anymore!

I may have told some of you the good news/bad news thing with my job change back in March. The good news was they really needed me - the bad news was they really needed me. It's been non-stop. But, I think it may be leveling off (omg, did I just type that out loud?) While I have done lots of "change management" over my professional career, it's been rather foisted upon me and not something I really ever thought of as a strong suit. Guess I won't be saying that anymore. But, the division now has a plan. And while it may need some fine tuning and tweaking as we learn more and grow more, at least there is a plan and everyone has agreed to it (and I mean everyone .... gawd, I really have a newfound appreciation for professional negotiators!!) So, to paraphrase SNL in their George H. send-ups - it's now time to stay the course ... thousand points of light and all that.

And maybe, just maybe, I'll find myself with some breathing room to check in on a regular basis and start trying to win something. Because (all together now ....) no one ever wins anything on this thread!!

We had one of those best-laid-plans kinda days. Instead of any real adventure, the critters & I lay on the floor in the sun & relaxed. I figured errands can wait til tomorrow.
