well we all spelled it the same, so either we're all right or all wrong.

When Life Imitates Art (or at least bad internet jokes).

About 45 minutes ago I left the study to refresh the coffee mug (new Q mug courtesy of the Golf Tourney doncha know!)

1. Go downstairs and see only one cup left. Decide to make more.
2. Attempt to empty filter and see my "drying rack" already has two filters ready for dumping.
3. Find outside shoes, call dog, go outside to garden to dump coffee grounds.
4. Inspect all gardens for weeds, bug damage (anybody else have a plethora of slugs??), rain/wind damage. Make mental note of what to do when the sun finally shines. Decide peonies need fixing NOW.
5. Go to garage to get new small tomato stake to fix peonies. Can't find it, but re-arrange the green bins, recycling boxes, lawn refuse containers and garbage pails to make them orderly. Before tidying the gardening implements, remember stake is in the sunroom.
6. Go inside, pass coffee machine on way to get stake. Empty filter, make more coffee, put last cup in the nuker. Heat. Continue to get stake.
7. Outside again - race dog to side gate and get really wet while wrestling too large peonies into too small a tomato stake (oh, well, they'll grow back).
8. Hand prune (aka tear off) ground cover wandering into actual flower beds.
9. Call hubby to open back door because totally wet and filthy. Complain to hubby about muck and mire at the side of the house and come up with a plan to fix this year.
10. Wash off, change sweats and sweatshirt and come back to the study.
11. Guess where the coffee is???
