evening Q sters,
just home from Mom's where we all gathered for dinner. my SIL brought the appetizers, little calabrese sandwichs with cheese, pear & balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers & goat cheese & fig with brie. all were delicious. Mom made the turkey with stuffing, green beans & a small batch of rice potatoes from my brother. i had made sweet potatoes with sour cream, balsamic vinegar & topped with cinnamon. my sister made apple crumble tarts & pumpkin tiramisu for dessert. apparently next year we are taking about heading up to the north part of Lake Huron for a camping/trailer Thanksgiving weekend. hopefully the weather will be more like last year, instead of this year. don't know how big the turkey Mom had, but there was leftovers in that, but everything else was polished off.

Yikes! Walkin' the dog in gloves and toque today (that's what I was wearing anyway) Is it too late to hope for an indian summer?

So sad to hear about the misadventure of Bender. Seems he/she was recalled by the maker prematurely. My condolences Karl.
