HAPPY THIRSTY THURSDAY OR FRIDAY JR!
it's a frosty one this morning.
yesterday started out yucky with the rodent's car not starting. put the charger on it while i went to work. was almost late, but just made it. work was the highlight of the day. just coming home & the rodent texts me that there was no hot water. Great! got home to find my basement flood with a couple of inches of water, boy was i thrilled. apparently the plunger for the basement sump pump got suck in the closed position. fixed that so the water started draining out of the basement. saw the light on the water heater flashing, so waited till the water drain & hit the reset. it started, ran for a minute, then stopped, started up again for another minute then stopped. then the light started flashing again. happened to look at the oil tank & noticed that the float indicator was way below the "E" line & thought great, out of oil too. called the oil company & they sent a guy out to add fuel to the tank, bleed the furnance line & the water heater line. got the furnance going ok, but still have a problem with the water heater. service dude is coming out this morning to fix that. best we had was luke warm water. needless to say, it was a very quick shower. checked the basement this morning before going to work, it has all dried up. good thing, it's not a finished basement & most items are on shelves & off the floor. good lord what else can possible go wrong! so far today has been uneventful as far as disasters go. i'm hoping the water heater is under warranty, since it's only 2 years old. hope everyone else's day when better.

All of my ramblings & pictures have earned me a second blue heart thanks to all of you!!

I can't wait to find out it there is a platinum one somewhere down the road!

I am still at w*rk, so I haven't had a chance to get caught up yet, but I just wanted to thank you again for your support for Michelle. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the next round. If you can believe it, she lost by 1 vote. It was tied at exactly 5:00pm and the next thing you knew, the guy had an extra vote. Michelle thinks that the tie breaker went to him because he had a lot more You Tube hits. Regardless, Michelle is pleased about making it as far as she did and appreciates all of the effort that people made to vote for her... I'm sure that this will not be the last time that we see or hear her!!!

oh that's a shame. was so hoping she could pull it off.

Good morning Q crew.....refreshing -9C to start the day. Windows are in need of a scrape before venturing out.

no scraping necessary, just warm up car before leaving with remote start. i stay much warmer that way.

Back to work today as Baxter slept better last night - poor timing as it is 21st. wedding anniversary today for the kween and I. How time flies!
