I've just read that Hugh's girlfriend Holly has confirmed that they have split
Maybe she just got tired of getting his diaper to fit
He is kinda old and wrinkled now yet still he tries keeps up the front
I think he's looking kinda sad and I hope that does not sound blunt
His teeth are kept inside a glass in his bedside table
I don't think he can do much else I doubt he's even able
What a little empire through his life that he has built,
can you imagine all those bunnies imposed upon a quilt?
This is a bit of a tribute cause Hef is so distinguished
His manly reputation will never be extinguished…

Part Deux..

Another engaged couple on the cusp of wedded bliss,
He’s long past being a curmudgeon & she is still a miss,
I hear her name is Crystal is it’s really not that clear,
But her occupation is about to change to booby-profiteer,
It must have all began with some innocent flirtation,
& I would even touch the subject that broaches consummation,
He has acquired 84 years, that’s 8 decades & some change!
His bride is a mere 24 & that does qualify as strange,
We all know Hugh’s reputation is not that of a boy scout,
It’s just a 60 year age difference really does stand out,
I don’t want to be incredulous with this rather cynical take,
It’s just that I would encourage her to give her head a shake,
Keep the bedroom extra dark so you won’t have to take a peak,
& congratulations Crystal, you’ve found a very priceless antique!

Part Trois

I’ve just read that good ole Hef has once again been dumped,
& here I thought all that Viagra must have kept him pumped,
She was diplomatic in saying what a wonderful man hi is,
But maybe there true love just ran out of fizz,
I was hoping this would be a poem of marital salutations,
& I hope Hef will soon be once again accepting fiancé applications,
You have to have platinum blonde hair & a very pretty smile,
& you should also be open minded & a little versatile,
You have to like frolicking in the grotto, as it goes with mansion life,
& you have to ignore people, who call you a rotten gold digging wife,
Sorry Hef finds himself single in such a public way,
& he may just be reminded that bunnies are born every day,
We’ve all found love & lost love as that’s just how it goes,
& I’m sorry that once again, I must write this tragic prose.

Neil Sedaka crooned that breaking up is hard to do,
But when true love is front & centre, wedding bells shine through,
Age is just a number, as are dollars & bank accounts,
Maybe Crystal is really smitten & knows that devotion counts,
Just why is this newsworthy & does it border on pathetic?
Or has Hef been doning his workout jammies & become suddenly energetic?
I hope their sleeping quarters are comfy & extra dark,
Maybe they could light some candles to enhance the spark,
I wonder if they will tie the knot by the light of the New Year's Moon,
& is Hef the kind of guy who will make his new bride swoon?
It just goes to show you that botox, platinum & saline, can take a girl a long, long way,
For soon she becomes CEO bunny of the mansion & work is merely play,
I wonder if they'll wait a few years before adding an addition to their family tree,
May love be with them always as they proceed most lovingly.
