Just finished a 6 Km Power Walk. Pretty slippery out there so I had to adapt my walking style. Not a Pretty sight at > 4Mph.



The good news is that I was able to rescue an old Black Lab. His legs had splayed out beneath him on the ice, and he wasn't able to get up. His owner was too old to help him.

Morning folks; wow what a great night !!
For those of you who didn't make it, you missed some amazing groups.
Michael White was better than I remember him; nice opening; The Doors Group was phenomenal, The Eagles tribute, did some numbers really well, others - ho hum (in my opinion) & the Zeppelin tribute was a blast.
That place was wired.

Lots to do today, and going dancing tonight, so may pop in, but if not, have a great day.

Happy Caturday Q sters,
last at the SA was awesome. great tribute bands. little surprised that they put The New Kids in Town on before The Yankee Rose, unless they figured that Elliot's (DLR) partially clad body was not PG rated. Buns or Abs of Steel he didn't have. The Q107 house band (Michael White) came on 1st & did Summer Breeze, & a few Bob Marley tunes, of course some Zeppelin tunes & a few more summer tunes. The Doorsmen were 2nd & the lead singer really sounded like Jim Morrison. he even had that dazed look like he was high (never know, maybe he was), played the part really well. next came The New Kids in Town, they were awesome. the keyboardist did sound like Don Henley. the 2 guitar players were phenominal. they had all the guitar solos down pat especially when they played Hotel California. they all did a great rendition of 7 Bridges Road. Last was The Yankee Rose. the guitar player had Eddie down real good in his solos. as much as i love VH music, i really am not impressed with DLR & this guy, Elliot, had him down to a tee. brought back all the reasons why i didn't like him. needless to say he was scantly clad in black leather chaps, a leather jacket, which came off after the first song & 4 scarves, 1 around his head, 1 around his neck & 1 around each arm. the sunglasses were on for most of the show, but he did remove them for a bit.
5 lucky people won trips to Cuba Dominican Republic & Mexico, but as far as i know, none went to any SCer.
it was great to see Karl, BWW, Ecat with her hubby, Mmmme & her hubby & friend 22Hicks,Berndawg & Zedgirl, Mechman & Mrs. Mechman, PSells, Spartacus & i hope i'm not forgetting anyone. it was an entertaining night all the way around. Sorry we didn't get to meet a few other SCers that ended up working late, hopefully next time.

don't worry, Attiutash, you're not the only one stuck at work today.
