Hey All! Happy Psych Sunday!!!

I'm rushing around today getting ready to head off for 5 days leaving tomorrow a.m. Got a resort cottage over near the Sandbanks. Making a few salads - Sweet & Tart Rice Salad, Pasta & Red Pepper Salad, Some Hummus, and a vegetarian dish in the slow cooker. I like making a few things ahead of time so you don't have to bring a whole bunch of ingredients and it also saves the hassel of cooking as much in a strange kitchen when you want to relax on the Beach!!! Taking a bike ride shortly to get a few more things. Talk to you all later - enjoy your day.

Just finished my favorite meal all alone. sorry about your luck. Alaskan King Crab Legs and roasted potatoes, and veggies. Only thing missing was a beer or two. Still yummy to your tummy.
By the way it has been pouring rain on and off for the past hour or so here on Queen St. E, hopefully it will break the humidity. Not complaining rather it hot than cold any day.

Went for the bike ride over to Price CHopper which was closed due to renovation - then to the Bulk Barn to get a few things which had been closed a while ago - I didn't realize so I had to make due with Loblaws and then the rain started.....it stopped after about 10 minutes and didn't start again until I just about made it home.....so I've finished most stuff except for the hummus - used the packaged chick peas which you have to soak and then cook for 1 1/2 hours so they are finally ready to go in the food processor I've had about enough geez.....



yes, lots and lots of rain down here!!!!!! must have put a real damper on the African Fest over at Woodbine Park - I went over yesterday for a bit - do they ever get a big crowd for it!!!

I'd tell you it hasn't rained here yet and you all live on the wrong side of the lake but you might move here so I won't.

Due to my proclivity for dangerous manoeuvres I've concluded it's not safe to ride with me.
Unfortunately, I have no choice.

We didn't get much rain at all today up north.... It sprinkled a few times, but it was mostly overcast with some sun bursts throughout the day.... It was VERY humid though.... but I would take the heat and humidity any day over the cold!!!

5 more sleeps until I'm back up north for a week's holidays!!!
