Are ya'll hungry-I made cupcakes on the bbq just now! They are actually really good, if you like the smokey kind-lol, still no power and we are now thinkiing it is going to be a lot longer than we thought. Hubby went up the road again and there are still wires and trees everywhere!

Wow, I'm really sorry you KT's have no power as well as H team and alohamom. Well at least you have your heat and refrigerator working alohamom! I think no heat would be the worst thing. I'm okay with the power but my phone is driving me nuts. Been having trouble for the last 1 1/2 weeks. Arranged for Bell to come out 3 times - didn't show up twice and the third time it was fixed but there's trouble again yesterday and today!!!

I'm still stressing out over a few things. Did a little downtown yesterday but didn't have a lot of time but the time we got there. Gonna leave now and go down the street for a couple of things. I am grateful I have power though!!! No time is a good time especially in the winter to lose power but during the holidays is the worst!!!! Good luck you guys!

My son had a tree come down, taking out the hydro lines & pole, telephone lines, & the corner of his house. Needless to say, he still has no power. I suggested they stay here, but they're worried another may fall & want to be there, just in case.
We're all hoping he's back up & all's ok, Christmas dinner is @ his place this year.

Well, my son & his family have moved in here. The temp dropped to 8 degrees. So 2 dogs, 1 cat & Marc & his wife. Unless they get power back up tomorrow, I guess Christmas dinner is here for them, the rest of my family & his wife's family. Going to be a busy place here.

I got Power back Yesterday Evening, so I am OK on that Front.

Got a few things when I was out and about down here today - a couple for the puds (hairball remedy for one!)

shoot had hoped i was the only one having power issues, damn.

had nothing since sunday afternoon after 5 ish and before midnight.
woke up after nap, to see off power in house but lights on outside, oh crap.
neighbour's tree branch knocked us out, and we are the only one in the subdivision.

feeling guilty as hell, i am at dad and the gf's condo, (apparently using my wireless??)
but left all 4 cats at the house, thinking i need a better plan as getting our power on
is not at the top of any list - although i was hopeful as i made sure to stay
up long enough to get a real hydro person on the phone around 3 am monday
because i could see the line on the ground and in the tree, and she hoped i would
have power on when i got up.
woke to the sound of a truck, (930) and hydro oh goody,,, they got the line and sort of wrapped
it up and left it on the lawn between us and the neighbour's --- huh?

how the hell am i going to get 4 cats in here, oh brother has generator, and mentioned
running extension cords to neighbour's (yes those neighbour's) for heaters
after he finally heard me saying IT IS JUST US.

funny sort of 'the generator brother', is the one who lives on a street with 8? houses,
and the million dollar home in newmarket, he has power!!!
i am in scarborough, and other brother who's street has no power is in don mills
area, gas fireplaces, but no hot water.

sorry i do ramble on and on,,,,
hoping those who have no power get it soon obviously and those who have can stay comfy.
crap wonder if i can sneak out for a smoke?
