Kawam - just read about your root canals....am dentally challenged so I cringed whilst reading your post...wishing you a quick recovery and medication that quells any pain....

Thanks. Never did suffer from any pain as a result of the root canals.........just a little soreness. Nasty cold started late yesterday night though..............you win some and you lose some I guess.

My Friend with Car that Acts Up had problems Starting Her Car Yesterday.
Problem was that it would not Start.
She was able to Contact Her Backup to Collect Her Son from Daycare, so I was not Needed for that.

She was in Mississauga, so not "near by".
I had to Talk-Her-Down as She was getting Depressed... Single Mom with Expenses.
She was OK by the Time the Tow-Truck arrived. She just had it Towed Home.

I asked Her to pickup some Gasline Anti-Freeze to see if that will Help.
She had Her Car Towed into our Underground, where it is "Warmer" than outside.
Then She Texted me that She Forgot the Anti-Freeze... so I went out to get a Bottle and put it in Her Gas Tank.

She Said that it still would not Start.

I Think that the Engine got Flooded with Gas in their Attempts to Start it.
And the Battery might be Low.

I will see if She is Available to go down to the Car so I can try to Git'er Goin'.

*sigh*
It is a Good Thing that Helping People is Warming... as this Darned Cape sure is not!!!! {shiver}

You do use a significant amount of the heat generated by cold weather ... which means you don't need to sweat as much as you would in the summer. ... start to shiver, you'll definitely burn more calories -- up to 400 an hour. that's exercise as far as i can see.

i can relate to your friend & her car issues.
i hope that you are able to help your friend out & get her car going again.
