What a crappy day...everything I did screwed up one way or another including blowing two fittings off the coils, once while it was in the testing tank, bubbles and water everywhere and the second time was as I was taking one out of the water causing the coil to shift and I sliced my thumb in three spots on the sharp fins. And just now I got hot sauce in the cuts...

I need a cold beer!!!

I live in Brantford aloha. Your mom's welcome as long as she doesn't want to rearrange everything!!! It's really nice but like anywhere else you have trouble areas. What part of the city is the house she's looking at? Anything in particular you want to know about? Lots of grocery stores and Timmy's, public transportation is decent.

Good morning, everyone.


Had a good/bad day yesterday. Good - went to the eye specialist and she confirmed my self-diagnosis about why my eye's been wonky lately. Bad - she also told me about something else going on I didn't realize (surgery pending, sigh). Good - the surgery is similar to one I've had before & with the same surgeon. Bad - that surgery involved a second emergency surgery to fix weird stuff that happened (I do like to cause trouble ). Good - had dinner last night with one of my best friends. Weird - went to see the Kafka play Metamorphosis afterwards. Good - the lead actor is an incredible acrobat (Iceland should win gold in the next Olympics if they have more folks who are this talented ). All in all, a good day. Not looking forward to more surgery (not so much the surgery as the recovery - have to sleep sitting up for 2 days, sheesh), but it will mean seeing properly again, so I'll put up with it.

Atlanta (CNN) -- After icing parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, a winter storm arrived Wednesday in Georgia, dropping a mix of ice and rain that was expected to continue pelting the Southeast into Thursday.
Up to three-quarters of an inch of ice was expected to accumulate on Atlanta and up to 10 inches of snow and sleet on Charlotte, North Carolina, making travel treacherous.

good, had enough of the ice the 1st time. 1/3 of my driveway still has the ice on it.
