Kitchener Blues Festival this weekend starting with Gregg Allman tomorrow night, Johnny Winter Friday at 4:00, and his brother Edgar's band Saturday night! John Mayall, Jimmie Vaughn, Pat Travers, too many to name! Google it! Hope to see some of you there! I have a couple of extra rooms now that Kerly has cleaned my house! Incredible job! Still lots to do though! I'm 30 minutes from the venue.

Got the birthday email from Q but the code didn't work......says I entered the code before....I think that there may be a glitch.....doesn't matter -- I had a fabulous day anyway!

I remember I put in cake months before my birthday when someone else posted it and sure enough, come birthday time they said NICE TRY!

I ended up seeing Billy Bishop this afternoon (far more cheery then Glass Menagerie ). Eric Peterson is such a sweetheart - I love watching folks' reactions when he chats with them on his way into the theatre. It was great to see the audience give him & John Gray a standing ovation.

Lily dog's evening walk took all of 10 seconds (would have been half that if I could run). Poor girl doesn't even want to look out the window - it's just too depressing. Quincy cat is screaming at the door, so I better take him for a wander. His meows are getting louder, so clearly I need more training.

Oh thank you so much for identifying the caterpillar! That is it!! I would have thought it would be a little prettier as a moth. But hmph, I really guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wonder if this is the front view.

I know, I love that festival, I've gone the last few years, one year I won VIP seating and a night's accommodation in Kitchener for it from the mighty Q! Seen Canned Heat etc. This year I've already booked a cottage, damn!!!! starting that weekend!!!
