..and here I had leftover spaghetti for supper...
I must have gotten excited since I haven't had much Q-luck for a while...
So now I don't have to try to get in by saying "I'm a friend of Craig, seriously"

Froġa tal- għaġin - Spaghetti Omelette

Ingredients

200g organic spaghetti, cooked
2-3 organic eggs, beaten
½ cup grana padano
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
1tsp ground cumin
Olive oil

Optional Ingredients

Flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
Anchovies, finely chopped,
Dried chilli flakes

Method

1. In a bowl mix the cooked spaghetti, eggs, cheese, cumin and salt and pepper until well combined.
2. Put a little olive oil in a large pan and heat. Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly over the base of the pan and cook until it is golden and crisp on both sides. Serve immediately.

evening Q sters,
what a great day it was. didn't have to wear mitts, hat, scarf, winter jacket or boots. wasn't overly windy either, finally some half descent weather. this is what winter should have been

Wow.. Look at all the Pink I have.. when did I get to be so pink? Good morning everyone.. last day with the kids then they are off for the March Break. I usually work the whole march break however taking a couple of days, we(my siblings and their kids) are heading north to my Brother's cottage.. butt luge, fire, hot tub.. and just being with family..(oh.. and beers.. don't forget the beers.

Toronto is an ever changing city & the skyline changes almost daily. Toronto has become condo-ized a little bit too much for my liking. When push comes to shove, Toronto is a city that has so much to offer. First class world renowned medical facilites, great places to grab some grub, fabulous little villages & communites, theatres & venues that are spectacular. Take the streetcar for the jaunt along Queen St (Humber) & you can almost feel excited as a tourist. Have a look at this view. Once upon a time in Toronto.............

The deal was excellent - 4 course meal for two with 2 glasses of wine and the voucher cost about $50. Papillion has a very nice atmosphere and décor. We were made welcome and they presented us with a "prix fixe" menu from which we had a delicious salad; French onion soup; I had beef bourguignon and my wife had pave of salmon and we had nice desserts. I ordered a coffee and the 2 highlights of the restaurant were the waiter, to whom the kween said "just talk to me so I can enjoy your wonderful accent" - he turned out to be Ukrainian and hadn't ever been complimented on his accent before (I laughed because she thought he was French!) The 2nd thing was the bill came to $6.37 including tax - just under what we paid for inside parking on Front Street. The best part was having date night in mid-week in a nice restaurant where we could just talk and be taken care of - no dishes or mess to take care of - yay!

Well folks it seems the drama with my mom living here is coming to an end. We have found here a place to live and she is very happy with it, she moves in a couple of weeks. One day if we ever all do a get together or at one of the Q parties I will explain all nasty details to anyone who wants to listen but for now I can see a silver lining!My poor son is so happy he doesnt have to sleep on the couch anymore!!!
