Waterfall that turns red : Cameron Falls, Alberta, Canada

A lucky photographer captured the image of a lifetime - shooting the incredibly rare moment a waterfall turned tomato soup red.
The phenomenom was caused by the high levels of rain washing a red coloured sediment called argolite from the rocks and into the water.

This is so sad. The World's Biggest Bookstore closing. BOOHOO!!! I used to go there all the time. It will be missed. I know not as many people reading paper books any more. I still do. It will take a lot of getting used to reading a book on a computer. I don't have a smart phone or tablet or whatever. My back would kill me if I tried reading a book from my PC. My brother was there yesterday and said major deals and about 1/4 books left.

congrats on your non-smoking anniversary and your new blue heart!

didn't another poster, psells win a chevy cruze in the same contest?

glad you came out of lurk mode to join in the fun

    Good morning, everyone.

Off to the wilds of Scarboro later today. Still don't have a time for the surgery (some time today I'm supposed to get a call). Not sure when I'll be back, thinking 2 weeks of being spoiled rotten might not be enough.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day(s).

Just back from my Metabolic Exercise Test, aka Stress Test.

Happy to report I was able to complete it with no long lasting ill effects, didn't even need the Nitroglycerin this time!
Legs will be sore tomorrow I am sure.
Next week I start the rehab, exercising with the oldies!

Kertes is a great doctor, couple of days and you will be feeling fine.

I remember it well when you joined us & how you blended in so nicely,
Your humour, your charm & warmth can sum it up precisely,
I am certainly pleased that you are here & I don't mean that in "jest",
It was a lucky day for us when you were no longer an unknown guest,
Thanks for always knowing all the right things to say,
As sometimes we all need a boost to brighten up our day,
Although the Q not the same or as mighty as it once was,
It still has us loyal followers who still can catch that buzz...
Congratulations Jester & to your Kween I give a Loocie formal approval,
& thanks for being my friend, even though I'm off my noodle.
