Good morning, everyone.

Roommates let me sleep in this morning, didn't even let their hungry growly tummies interfere with their dreams.

Bon voyage to those traveling. Stay safe & make sure you take lots of photos to share with us (unless, of course, they could get ya into trouble - wouldn't want that ).

Think today I might try a new cracker recipe I've been wanting to play with for a week now, just didn't seem to have the oomph to do anything. Seems as good a reason as any to avoid housework.

awwww, that is so sweet - Jake obviously loves you and needs you. Maybe you should get another - Jake would have a buddy to play with which would hlep his separation anxiety when your gone and you'd get double the love and fun!!!

So, I just got off the phone with the transplant clinic. It's always bad when they call. Turns out my iron levels are fine, but there's a potential glitch with the transplant. I have to adjust my meds and go get grilled by them next week. Sigh.

On the plus side, at least now I know why I've been feeling off. Gonna try a few tricks in addition to their orders & hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.

Gosh, I thought I'd sign in & rub elbows, but I see I'm all alone,
But there is no need to worry, I'll hold the fort & look after the phone,
I'm thinking we should go light on dinner or should we go luck of the pot?
I'm counting on chewing the fat & make sure we have plenty of food for thought,
You've been so busy bringing home the bacon & that's not always as easy as pie,
Maybe it's because of the Big Cheese; who ain't the apple of your eye,
Let's make sure we're not ordering up any humble pie, or egging anyone on,
& if you go bananas & cook your goose, you'll find it is all gone,
I'll make sure we have a bowl of cherries & that we are all full of beans,
Cause I think the Big Enchilada will be there to talk Fine Kettle of Fish Dreams,
We can probably do this for peanuts, so bring along your sweet tooth,
Just don't eat us out of house & home including the walls & the roof,
Since you're all the cream of the crop & undoubtedly sweet as honey,
We can cook up the nicest storm & it's not going to cost that much money,
Maybe we can spill some beans & manage to not land in a pickle,
It's going to be a piece of cake & we also won't take a wooden nickel.
