so much for the sun. i guess it's sleeping in so far.
well, this is the BIG DAY, the day that every parent dreams about, the day that their rodent FINALLY leaves home to venture into the great beyond & to fend for themselves. the first cord gets cut when they're born & the 2nd gets cut when they move out. 7:30pm she will be aboard the big silver bird, jetting across the this country we call Canada to land in Vancouver. she can then wreak havoc on the west coasters.
it'll be PARTY TIME at the H Team house tonight. renos will start next week.

Maureen Holloway was just talking about her eldest going off to school and she's pretty sad about it. My kids are only 14 and 11 but I found myself tearing up listening to her. As much as the mess they leave behind them drives me crazy, I can't imagine how it will be when the fly from the nest...

I wonder sometimes why they don't put a little more effort in to getting the trivia correct. Who ever does it is pretty bad sometimes. Yesterday on a different thread they asked who the actor was in a movie .... The movie was "The Rock" staring Sean Connery guess what the answer was ...yep you got it "The Rock" .... I have given up and just post the answer that gets the points even when I know its wrong

But FUN is good word for friday have a good weekend

i was listening to Maureen as well this am. i didn't find it as bad as i thought it would be, when my rodent went off to college. thought i would be a basketcase as well when she went, but it wasn't too bad. biggest differences i noticed, was the laundry, or lack of it & the food bill, it was cut in half. we still have the internet to chat thru & i'm pretty sure she's looking forward to getting out of the chores she had to do while living at home. little does she realize that she will still have to do them for her place. the vacuum fairy's not going out west.
