Ok, so Derringer explained a lot this morning about Q personalities leaving. We knew about Kim & Jeff on Friday, but I didn't realize that Dominik was gone too. Was wondering why Garbutt was hosting the last home party instead of Dominik, now I know. Wonder what Q has in store for us this fall. Sure going to miss Kim, Jeff & Dominik.

I heard Derringer this morning, but I didn't hear the part about Dominik leaving as well. What a drag! I really liked him.

Q had better step up their game in the future to replace the quality DJs that are now gone.

It's not the DJ's fault, it's the music list.

i guess she'll still be around. her page is still on the q site. there aren't any dj's assigned to the afternoon, evening or overnight shifts.

Oh I hope Joanne is still there. I like her effervescent voice during the work day.

Besides, I would really feel betrayed by Q107 if they clean house.

Remember what happened to Jack FM years ago? They played whatever they wanted and there were no DJs. Then they got former Q107 DJs, and sounded like Q, but with a more expanded play list. Then one day at 3:00 pm, they changed format to pop music. I thought someone had changed the radio station at work, but it was the radio station that changed.

Hopefully it won't be as drastic a change at Q. Over the weekend I did that Music Matters survey, and for the most part they had modern rock and classic rock. If there will be a change, hopefully it will remain within those genres.

Good morning, everyone.

Made the mistake of trying to clean out my laundry closet (aka the teeny room where the washer/dryer and anything else I can stick in there are kept). Ran out of steam yesterday (well, had to save my energy to go hang out with the neighbours), so it looks like a tornado came through here.

I had put a batch of flower shaped cookies out yesterday for the neighbour doggies (no Simcoe-shaped cookie cutter here, maybe I'll have to ask Santa for one ), then topped up the container last evening. Just found out that my psycho neighbour threw out the second batch (anyone have an FPC for an assassin? ). Good thing I have a sunny disposition and the brats to entertain me, or I'd be livid (this has been going on for years, it gets worse around AGM time, sigh).

On the plus side, I found a few items yesterday that had been missing (must have chucked them in the laundry closet when company came over - guess I should apologize to Quincy cat for blaming him ).

Better get going and finish organizing, so I can relax with the brats this afternoon.

sorry, i don't share your opinion of joanne. i find her immensely irritating and usually change the station when she comes on.

i used to like jack fm without dj's.

found the dock fm 104.1 out of midland that we can get north of the city. very few commercials and an broader playlist (but no pop music).
