Speaking of cats, my cat is demanding to be fed. Funny how cats think that they own you. I need to have a word with my cat and let him know that if he can flush my toilet after me, then we can talk about who owns who.

Hello everyone. It is indeed Saturday & it seems like a nice day out there. I've been having a slow morning.

Looking forward to some peace and quiet
We're on day #3 of getting our roof rebuilt - it was in pretty bad shape and we didn't want to wait until we started to suffer leakage; so we went with "Those Roofers" who have excellent references. Not cheap; but their materials; work ethic and workmanship are keeping our minds at rest. Just want it finished - soon please!

I'm heading out of town to McKellar, Parry Sound for a few days on Monday to visit with friends. Baxter and the kween will be staying back as they have cats (plus TK doesn't relate to north country)
It will be nice to have some quiet; country air see the star shine again.

Doing a lunchtime jazz cruise tomorrow and looking forward to that.

Spot is pretty cute kenrod. My two were just "yelling" at me for their second meal but I ran out the door. Will feed them shortly before I leave. Two against one isn't fair!

Last night Foghat did a fantastic job of rocking the Bandshell. I got right up front and took some pictures. I must say the first band from Vancouver might have been okay but they were way too loud. Of course Foghat did Slowride for their last song and everyone got into it big time! Almost got trampled when they threw out a few drumsticks.........The drummer was from Savoy Brown which was a treat!

Gotta run - yes, I'm going back down, the Cat Show is on this weekend so I'll see what they have for my puds and take a look at the various breeds and of course do other things at the CNE.

Hi all. Looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do
Haven't been on line 4 awhile, & not sure when I'll be back on.

Summary:
* Jake, my puppy, had surgery
* a friend in hospital, & his brother flew over from England, & sister from North Bay: both WERE staying with me
* computer hacked; $36,000. stolen, but bank covered the theft.
* " data gone; support can't retrieve, so goes into shop Monday. They'll try to retrieve data & photos; then wipe hard drive & reinstall software. Once unplugged, no wifi, so don't know when I'll be back on line.

Very stressful couple of weeks.
