Good morning fellow Canucks!
H team, that original web site is kind of "blah" as compared to more modern web pages. But it is pretty cool that the original on is still operating.
Well folks, have a great day today.

Good morning
Jester – thanks for posting the Phil Collins article. Wish it was a Genesis album and not a solo work. Loved his earlier solo work but then started to lose my attraction. I have a friend, who was a photographer; he actually started out taking Genesis pictures. He got to know the band, and at a Toronto concert just before the 1984 Genesis reunion Phil gave him a cassette. It was a copy of the Face Value album about two months before the release. Of course we played it all the time, including at the reunion and were freaking people as it was unreleased. Wish I could find my copy of that tape as it had one song that was not on the released album. Maybe it will be on the rerelease.

Ah, women.
Maybe females, whatever you're calling yourselves today.
Almost as hard to figure out as the blacks,,,er African-American...people of colour.
I'm Irish, you can call me anything you like...until closing time, then it's on.

Maybe Alex wants to succeed Paul instead of Mark.
Alex Anthopoulos is hitting the job market of Major League Baseball.
Reports suggest the Jays G.M, who has just a few days left on his current contract has rejected an extension to remain with the club.
The move comes less than a week after the Jays were eliminated from the post-season by the Kansas City Royals.
Reports also suggest the split is not money related so already there are rumours swirling suggesting the move has something to do with Mark Shapiro’s arrival.
He is set to take over as president next week, succeeding the retiring Paul Beeston.

Shell out, shell out the Witches are out, is what we used to say,
Around the block & up the street as we masqueraders made our way,
Armed with a pillow case & a Unicef Box with the moon as our tour guide,
Princesses & spooky make up that looked just bona fide!
Broomsticks, fangs & cobwebs & pumpkins on the porch,
Mysterious & spooky oh those hair-raising screams so loud they almost scorch!
Little devils & fairies, perhaps a scarecrow or two,
Cauldrons, monsters & spider webs give a gruesome cry of boo!
Blackcats, mummies & elf’s & ghouls with those wax fangs,
Ghosts, magic wands & goodies to satisfy those hunger pangs,
Stopping off at home to unload & go back out for more,
The house that gave out caramel apples; a kid could not ask for more!
Going out with your friends made Halloween all the more exciting,
Examining your haul dumped on your bed, though cavities may be inciting,
Happy Halloween one & all, be safe & watch out for skeletons & trolls,
& if you are brewing a potion over the fire, remember to stir the coals!

Something a little different and apropos with the crazy rain yesterday
Here comes the flood -Peter Gabriel (remixed by a DJ in the Czech Republic)
https://youtu.be/EzBLqwe7BY0
My name is Jan Kvaca and I am 26 years old music producer and DJ coming from a quite small town called Decin in CR. Currently I live and work (in IT industry) in Prague. My first encounter with musical instrument was in primary school where I played on flute. Then I moved on to acoustic guitar. I self-taught everything basically with help of my father who gave me his guitar to train with. I also played bass guitar in a rock band for around 8 years. I first started producing electronic music almost 9 years ago (my early high school years). At that time I also first got in touch with drum and bass genre and I was totally blown away with that music - it actually got me to production. My first experiments were done in Adobe Audition and I had no clue what I was doing, basically recording various sounds (clock ticking, live bass guitar riffs etc) and layering it down to create my first attempts of music. Then I found out a software caller Fruity loops which I use since then. I was always aimed for drum and bass mostly but recent years I am doing dubstep as well. In my track you can hear a lot of self-recorded instruments - I record my own electric guitar riffs and melodies. I am also working with few other people to record vocals and other instruments (saxophone, trumpet etc.). I also sample a lot as you can tell from a lot of remixes that I produce. I really love to take over existing music and give it my own re-touch. My approach to music is solely for other's joy - I put most of my stuff out for free, I don't make any money from my production and I have basically had only 1 release 4 years ago on PRotogen records. Besides production I am also DJing. I am the main event manager at DCGround crew - which is a crew based in my hometown (consists of 7 DJs). We put together a monthly dnb party called !Grounded which is very popular in the town. I am trying to get as much abroad DJs as possible, we had Neonlight, Phil Tangent, Hybris, B-Complex, Stealth and many more.
In case you're left aching for the original, here it is
