On reflection these are amazing pix

A Spanish photographer has compiled a breathtaking portfolio of street snaps – using the reflection of puddles to capture historic landmarks in all their glory. And the wow inducing collection are made all the more impressive by the fact each image was caught using only a smartphone! - See more at: http://www.the-open-mind.com/the-par....gBpEWIMJ.dpuf

Cheers with a glass of white everyone!

How I also wish it was still summer Lee, it sure as hell is way to short, I'm thinking we should be living somewhere where you can take it easy and bask in the sun not worrying about it being over very shortly...!!!! I just may do that at some point, who needs this crappy weather that is on it's way shortly.............

Great pics there Jester that that guy took on his phone!!! My daughter has been getting quite a fewe compliments on her skateboard photography (she's taking photography at Ryerson right now and enjoying it immensely)

Every month the Toronto Humane Society works with different shelters from all over so these animals
have a second chance at love. THS has worked with other shelters and rescues within the GTA, Northern
Ontario, Quebec and even in California and Georgia!
Many of these other shelters run out of room, and often THS offers an alternative to euthanasia for the
animals. Thanks to our generous donors and adopters our shelter is lucky enough to be able to place
and adopt out more animals than we have surrendered to our shelter directly. This year alone, THS has
transferred in over 1500 animals from other shelters and found them forever homes! It is a wonderful
program that helps us play a part in lowering euthanasia rates and supporting no kill initiatives within
    Toronto and beyond.
Robert, pictured below, is only one of the numerous animals we have had transferred into our care. Robert
is 7 years old and arrived at THS back in June. He’s a little bit older but luckily, a visitor to THS found his
forever friend in gorgeous, sweet and charismatic Robert. It didn’t take this friendly fella too long to get
    adopted!
Did You Know THS Helps Animals in Need Outside of Toronto?
Every month the Toronto Humane Society works with different shelters from all over so these animals

II knew Robert and so glad he found a home. Can't get the picture to copy but he was a handsome pud! Just glad to let you know the THS really does a great job to help out all the animals in their care. A shelter is not a real happy place for animals but it really is better for them to wind up here than at so many others who just do not give them the attention they need.

    Heads up McSkier

Up to 162″ of snow (13.5-feet) is currently forecast to fall on 14,411-foot Mt. Rainer in Washington state in the next 3 days.
That huge snowfall total is due to an atmospheric river that will be “slamming” into Washington this weekend.

THE PRECIPITATION BULLSEYE OVER MOUNT RAINIER IS MORE THAN 20 INCHES IN 48 HOURS IN THE WETTEST MESOSCALE MODELS. - NOAA Seattle, WA today

Add it up! Mt. Rainer, WA has up to 162″ of snow forecast in the next 3 days above 12,000-feet. image: noaaEven 10,000-foot Mt. Baker is forecast to get 70″ of snow in the next 3 days… This is gonna be a crazy weekend in Washington state.
Snow levels will start high but will drop to as low as 4,000-feet by Sunday.
