Good morning, everyone.

I should be in a happy mood (I LOVE this time of year), but I'm feeling cranky. Too many self-absorbed greedy people (posted in the rants thread, I don't want to ruin anyone's day here).

Was miffed at Lily dog last night. We were going down the stairs to have our evening constitutional, and the silly girl noticed crumbs on one step - she tried to lick them up while walking beside me and fell down 5 steps. Thankfully, she didn't hurt herself or knock me down. I was not pleased and cut short her walk (wanted to check her over inside to make sure nothing was amiss - she's perfectly fine, silly dog).

The other day, I survived another round of Munsch. At least this time, the teachers actually paid attention to their charges. Last time, I had to hover behind a couple of little boys who kept leaning over the balcony railing, while their teacher texted non-stop (she started before the lights went down and stopped literally one minute before the show ended - this despite me reminding her over and over again that use of electronic devices is not allowed and that she was setting a very bad example to her charges ). Sigh, why is it so hard to do your darn job??? I get to see a lot of plays for free, but the price I pay is that I have to keep an eye on the audience and make sure no one trips on the stairs when running out to the washroom during the show when it's pitch black in the theatre, or call the paramedics when someone faints cause she's in close proximity to the cute actor she has a crush on (claimed food poisoning, but I don't buy it ).

I still don't have my trees decorated. At least I brought them up from the storage locker. Maybe I'm cranky cause I'm tired. I have friends coming by this weekend (in between Xmas parties I'm going to), so I think I'll get them to help me decorate. At least I finally put up my door decoration (puppy holding a stocking - what else ).

Better get going, have to go finish wrapping the last of the presents before I meet my neighbour (it will either be an exercise session or a party-planning session or both). I should also go play with the brats and remind myself of what's really important in this world and forget about the idiots out there.
