Alan Rickman, giant of British film and theatre, dies at 69

Alan Rickman, one of the best-loved and most warmly admired British actors of the past 30 years, has died in London aged 69. His death was confirmed on Thursday by his family. Rickman had been suffering from cancer.

A star whose arch features and languid diction were recognisable across the generations, Rickman found a fresh legion of fans with his role as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films. But the actor had been a big-screen staple since first shooting to global acclaim in 1988, when he starred as Hans Gruber, Bruce Willis’s sardonic, dastardly adversary in Die Hard – a part he was offered two days after arriving in Los Angeles, aged 41.

good morning

saw there is some extra snow here in scarbourgh so be careful, never know
where that could be - lucky us not in nfld

have one of my terrifically boring except to me story:
interesting to some,, car sped by up the driveway of the other house one could
just continue into on this crescent - Crash.
this home usually is up long into the night like here,,,

5 minutes later guy ran by down the street, 10 minutes later he returned.
blah blah, nothing i could see from here, guy walked down the street
returned about 10 minutes later,,,, eeekkk, getting very odd.
so opened door to get a look see, red suv kitty corner in driveway, and person
trying to get it out, but if suv went forward would hit car in the next driveway,
spin spin - nothing and saw no one from the home,, so called the police.

little while later, people in home were woken up by police knocking,
(yikes - they are always awake),
but red suv not a friend, and is a rental, terrific police officer did speak
to a guy walking down the street, who claimed to know nothing,
(no one walks around here at 3:50 ish am)

got to sign a report, oh goody, extra goody when asked a question
i got my notes, oh geee haha.
just call me officer madchives eh

It looks like this and other messages similar to this are spam. I have seen several 1 message posters on this thread recently. The messages don't even mean anything.

Recently on our thread we have had numerous posts like that just like kenrod mentioned. We should not be so quick to like their posts or give them any encouragement. Probably quite possibly correct to say it is spam.
If you look back, over the last couple of weeks there have been many of those posts. Some of "those people" have been banned. Posters ssconlineexam, way2practice, sbiclerkpom ibpsadda, currentaffairstoday have all been banned.
I would wonder what someone gets from making up these identities, but it really doesn't matter. My suggestion is to ignore them, not give them any feedback & report the post as we do not need any spammers here.
Some of us had difficulties signing in not too long ago & trouble with our inbox........No spammers here please.

(most people that join, do so for the intent of participating. Obviously this was not the case.)
