Last night's Gowan concert was awesome. There wasn't any visual effects like when he played at the living arts center in Mississauga, but then maybe the Rose Theater isn't set up like the Living Arts. His voice was excellent, Divine Brown was awesome in the Purple Rain tribute to Prince. Ricky Tillo did an amazing guitar solo during the song. He was 1 of the original members of the Prince band, when Prince 1st started out. He is also playing in Lady GaGa's band & with Gowan. Todd Sucherman, had an awesome drum solo. He is currently also in the band Styx. Todd & Gowan have been playing together for the last 11 years in Styx & the Gowan band. They are 2 of the 11 members that/are/have been in Styx. The bass player is Gowan's younger brother, Terry & on keyboards was Ryan Bovaird. They played songs from Lost Brotherhood, Gowan, Strange Animal, You can call me Larry, Great Dirty World & The Good Catches Up. He came out with his kilt on in the 1st set & finished that set with Criminal Minds. The 2nd set, he had his pants on, saying it was easier to boogy this set with pants, than his kilt. They finished the 2nd set with Strange Animal & the encore was Moonlight Desires.
Got to meet & greet him after the show, he signed my ticket & had my pic taken with him. Very nice person, down to earth.
Saw Lee there with her hubby & a couple of friends. They were in the balcony & i was on the floor. Great seats, awesome sound.

Good Morning All. Today is PIG IN A BLANKET DAY!!!

lucky us once again with the weather,,, so for those awaiting with bated breath re the couple of ducks we have,,,
they magically appeared under the birdfeeder, whilst el crazy maddy cat was watching
from outside on the step,,, yikes,
maddy started towards them, so no choice went outside - (maddy does not like people
last time we did more than a touch, i ended up on antibiotics, tetanus shot, and a letter
from the city re - did she have rabies, and were we dead yet?)

the ducks started walking slowly away, as they guessed something was up, i tried to
grab madcat ,,so a few steps here and there, then extra special daisy
(the cuteish puppy ever and never off the lease,) ran over.
looks like this, too sweet



so --- a cat one can barely pick up, cute puppy barking and running toward, oh
and ducks waddling the other way.
it is a wonder we all survived, the ducks came back (after the others were inside)
to eat some bread.
it strange the ducks, almost keep trying to nest on top on empty seeds, and with
cats and dogs around, blah blah,,, as i know i do blather,
