It has been quite a challenge over the last 14 years. My life sure changed in every single aspect. I lost my right leg below the knee due to neurofibrosarcoma or we can just say Cancer. My recovery was gradual & there was so much for me to learn. It wasn't until October that I was fitted with my first prosthesis & began taking baby steps once again. Was it ever a good feeling to walk up my own driveway again. Most notably, the severe jolting pain was finally gone. It's been quite a journey for me & for my family too. I guess I should have been listening when *they* said that life isn't always going to be easy.....because they weren't kidding. Let me conclude this blurb by saying that I truly am grateful to be here,

I've been out all day. After church, I went to the Jays game - what a great game !!!!
Then had dinner downtown, and I'm finally home.

A gunman wielding an assault rifle and a handgun opened fire inside a crowded gay nightclub early Sunday, killing at least 50 people and wounding 50 more, before dying in a gunfight with SWAT officers. It was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Authorities are investigating the attack on the Florida dance club as an act of terrorism. The shooter called 911 shortly before the attack and referenced ISIS, FBI agent Ronald Hopper said.

Candlelight vigils to mourn the victims were planned in several Canadian cities Sunday night. Hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil in Toronto, where both the premier and mayor spoke.

Good morning my Q friends. Had a great weekend up in Beaverton. Didn't make it to the Lumberjack Championship but partied with some friends i wasn't expecting to see. They were staying at the friend I was visiting. It was a nice surprise.

was watching tv when the shooting happened, only info i found was on
facebook, from people who had escaped,, feeling sick
and remembering when we flew down to orlando,,. sighing and have been

watching the families, mothers and friends talking about the ones gone
has broken my heart
