Hi All!

Had a great time at the CNE yesterday. Started at the CAT show, got lots of free Royal Canin pud food and a couple of toys since it was Caturday! Then caught a set of The Carpet Frogs, then over to the Bandshell for Loverboy and after that caught the last set of a band doing a tribute to Kiss, full outfits, makeup etc! Loverboy really rocked the place. The bandshell was packed and everyone went crazy when they played Turn Me Loose and Working for the Weekend. For their last song they brought out Gino Scarpelli from Goddo! Great Sound!

I got the roof of the bunkie scrapped and almost all sanded yesterday, but we need to do a bit more fiberglassing before we can paint... that's next on the list...

Well, gotta rush out the door again. Back to the CNE to check out the Cat Show again (didn't have enough time there yesterday), they have contests to win stuff, I won a hammock for my puds last year. There is also an all day Blues festival at the Bandshell! See ya all later. Happy Psych Sunday!

I looked a bit gloomy earlier,
though the wind was busy here and the sun is shining.
The air is cool which means no ac and all the windows and screen
doors are wide open.... It feels fabulous....

Have my linens outside drying... Hoping the wind will dry them quickly.
Not so sure about my lingerie....
I do not need it flying all over the neighbourhood...

Just home from our GRAND adventure!

Elmo was a fantastic host, wonderful place, great people, excellent food!
I can now say I have been to a rave, check that off the bucket list.

My niece took lots of pics, so I will post a few once she sends them to me.
Daisy was in heaven! Daughter and niece got to dance up a storm half the night.
Everyone had a blast!

Happy Caturday!
the rodent texted me last night around 11:38 that she had landed in Calgary. she unfortunately got air sick in mid flight. flying & her don't agree. she was feeling better on the ground, even giner ale wasn't helping. she did get on the next phase of her trip. not sure when she landed in Vancouver, but i didn't get a text or email till noon today to say she was alive. she was feeling better than last night. she texted later on today to say she forgot her birth certificate(had her passport though), her phone car charger(has the home one) & her contact lenses(does have her glasses). i think i'll wait a couple of days to see if she forgot anything else before sending those out to her.
thanx elmo for the great time & dinner this afternoon. wow, what a huge place & some lovely country to have this party in. mechman, his daughter & niece are still there. they are doing the camping thing. the food that was made was awesome. all home made includung the pickles. they were good. there were 2 kinds of pulled pork, one had been marinaded in BBQ sauce, the other was like a honey dijon mustard sauce, boiled potatoes, corn on the cob, a couple of different potato salads, garden, bean, cuccumber salads, veggie platter. the desserts were also awesome. there was a peanut butter, rice krispee roll, carrot cake, brownies, lemon chiffon cake, banana bread & a few others that i'm not sure what they were. all in all it was a grand time.
