Hi this is an attempt at showing a little of our trip to China. I hope I have made the pictures small enough. Every year our head office in China invites the customers over for a week for meetings and a party. We estimate that here was between 750 to 800 people including our hosts. The last four years I have had to stay at home and run things. Well this was our time. The offices are about two hours south west of Shanghai in a town called Tongxiang. The corporation last year finished building there hotel. It is called the Inspirock Hotel and it is over the top, I have never been in anything like it. Five stars are too low. Our room I’m sure was one of the smaller ones and it was huge. I have attached 4 pictures. Part of the lobby showing one of the carved marble stair cases. My wife Ruth out front on the stairs, the inlayed floor of the elevator and the overall hotel.

WoW , we had over 140 kids which was double from just a year ago.

As all the kids have grown around here over the last 15 years, we have seen it go up to almost 200 and then down to maybe 75. Now there seems to be another fertility wave, this year we had somewhere around 95.

I just saw the space station go by. A friend sent me a text about 20 minutes ago that the space station would be visible for about 4 minutes around 7:21pm. I went outside and waited for a few minutes and then caught a view of it. Awesome!

Did anyone hear Lee03 on the Q last Night?
I heard Dominik read an Excited Letter from Her, Reviewing the Concert... before Her Meet & Greet with Uncle Alice.

Dominik said that he was going to call her, but I had the Radio off.

I spoke with my daughter a little while ago when we got home and she said that she heard most of it and the internet cut out on her..... I was so nervous waiting to meet Alice and the group that I had no idea what to say to Dominik or how bad I sounded.... I thought I was all over the place... Hopefully he was able to make it sound ok by their "radio magic" of editing....

We landed at Pearson just after 4 this afternoon. We had a 3 hour stop in Newark on the way home, and we needed the 3 hours just to get our luggage, clear US customs and get to our next gate.....

It was a little after 7pm when Dominik read Her Email.
He did not want to chance "Interupting" Her when She was Meeting Uncle Alice, so was going to see if he could talk to Her later.

They took hubby and I back stage at the very end of the meet and greets. There were 18 people that bought VIP tickets (that included a meet and greet) and since each ticket cost them about 475 pounds each they took them in first. There were 8 VIP's in our group - 4 VIP's that followed the tour in every UK location, the owner of the snake that was used in the show (an Alice look alike) and his girlfriend and then hubby and I that went in last.

He was such a nice guy.... really, really down to earth!!

afternoon all...
been busy getting ready for a much need vacation. (i know... AGAIN!)

I need to work on getting the blood pressure down again.
it was really high before I went away last june, and with meds and taking it easy i got it down to a more reasonable number....

but since i've been back, i had to deal with my ex-roommate, and the vicarious job situtaion so i guess it's all taken it's toll on me (even though the roommate situation has been resolved! he's been gone since thanksgiving!!! Yay!!!) now it's just the job thing...

anyway, my BP has jumped back up so I'm on a new med, and have been watching what I eat, have laid off the coffee and now my next plan of attack is to take off for a week to jamaica to go lie on a beach and try to relax....

i leave in the wee hours saturday morning for a week... wish me luck on getting the health back together. I know I can do it

Tough day to go to work on my off day when it was so nice outside! A treat to cycle to & from work in daylight! Won`t happen again unitl April!
