or better yet beer mugs/steins

Hello all!

Frist of all I must appoligize for being mostly a lurker for the past few months, but just have not had the time to keep up.

In any case, I have a suggestion for passing on the alert to call when the song of the day comes on. I have created a new thread specifically for the "call now" notification with instructions on how to get an email as soon as the word to call now goes out.

The link to the thread is below along with the instructions posted within the thread. Let me know if you think any of the instructions need tweaking.

Use this thread to post a "CALL NOW!" message when the Q107 song of the day comes on.

If you subscribe to this thread and set the thread to instant email notification, you will get an email to call whenever someone posts to this thread.

Notes and guidelines:

You will only get one email notification at a time until you visit the forum again, so this will prevent multiple emails, but it does mean that you must visit this thread before the next day to get notified again.

Please post only Call Now alerts to keep the number of emails to a minimum, but feel free to include the phone number 416-870- 7655 or 416-870-7625 (numeric only) for the benefit of those with a smart phone. Having the number included, allows them to dial directly from the email message.

In order to set yourself up for instant emails, simply perform the following steps:

1) subscribe to this thread.
2) Go to "Subscribed Threads". This can be done by clicking on "Quick Links > Subscribed trheads".
3) On thr right side of the line you will notice that under the heading "Notification" it will say "None". Click the empty box beside this thread to select this thread only.
4) At the bottom of all of your subscribed threads it will list a default action of "Move to Folder"; change that to "instant email notification" and then click on "GO".

As long as you have set your profile up with an email address, you will be notifiied whenever anyone sends out the alert.

I hope everyone enjoyed their week-end.... I'm so happy that the rain held off today and let me finish my yard work...... all the leaves are raked and the gardens have been cleaned up.... the only thing left to do outside is the Christmas lights....

noticed a lot of people had put their up this weekend. there was a lot more that had them on at night too. just too early for that.

coffee mugs work well for tea as well, that's what i use mine for, but beer mugs/steins would be great too.
