my chicagoland gf went into emergency last night.
had trouble breathing - had blood work - ok,
xray - ok, and an ekg - ok.
they wanted her to wait to see cardiologists, but there
were 10 other people with the same symptoms likely
spreading germs around so they went home.
she has a heart umbrella ie a nickel part in her heart,
so there are worries about blood clots and the electrical
part, never quite kicked in properly so,,,

and for crying out loud it's her birthday today
she fell asleep before i told her where i hid things, sighing

We tried Haggis as an appetizer at the Red Onion Restaurant in Glasgow, but it was prepared like a "crab cake" - deep fried.... it was "ok". There were only 2 and hubby and I each had one. Hubby tried it again at a breakfast buffet but left it on his plate.... he said the blood pudding was even worse.... He had no idea before hand what it was, but at least he tried it.... I knew what it was and wouldn't touch it....

Oh Lee - I am so glad we talked about the Like button. ...... I was just in a couple other threads and noticed they didn't have said button. So I came back here just to check and it has disappeared.

Had we not had our little back and forth about it, I would have probably thought I was just imagining it.

Reminds me of the time that only Karmac and I saw a weirdity involving disappearing posts - someone who was banned had their posts deleted in real time. Very unsettling to have read it, commented about it and then find it gone!!

Speaking of gone, has anyone heard from Karmac at all?

Just after we chatted about it, the site went down again... maybe something Boo was trying out???? Too bad it's gone... I kind of liked the option of "Like" when I couldn't rep....

I was thinking of Karmac too.... I figured she was probably busy in the summer with the kids and would be back in September, but she never did come back. I hope all is well with her.
