my chicagoland gf went into emergency last night.
had trouble breathing - had blood work - ok,
xray - ok, and an ekg - ok.
they wanted her to wait to see cardiologists, but there
were 10 other people with the same symptoms likely
spreading germs around so they went home.
she has a heart umbrella ie a nickel part in her heart,
so there are worries about blood clots and the electrical
part, never quite kicked in properly so,,,

and for crying out loud it's her birthday today
she fell asleep before i told her where i hid things, sighing

I hope your gf is feeling better soon. It's never good timing to be sick, but especially not on your birthday....

Today is my Friday and my last day at "w*rk" until January 3rd.... it will be a super late night for me since I have a ton to do that I don't want to leave until January.... I'll be "on call" for the few days between Christmas and New Years, but I shouldn't have to go into the office.... I hope

Today is the winter solstice.... the shortest day for daylight.... after today, the daylight gets longer.....
