Good morning Q sters...TGIF with a long weekend as a bonus, off w*rk today so I can ski on my birthday.

Happy birthday attitash. Don't yell " Five - Oh" too loud or the home boys will all scatter.

A friend hosted a dinner party for family far and wide and everyone was encouraged to bring all their children as well.

All during the sit-down dinner one four-year-old girl
stared at the uncle sitting across from her.

The girl could hardly eat her food for staring.

The uncle checked his tie, felt his face for food, patted his hair in place but nothing stopped her from staring at him.

He tried his best to just ignore her but finally it was too much for him.

He finally asked her "Why are you staring at me?"

Everyone at the table had noticed her behavior and the table went quiet for her response.

The little girl said "I just want to see how you drink like a fish."

It's been a stressful few days as my 90 year old mother had a fall and had hip surgery today. The surgery went well. Glad to see that one of our own won a trip today. have a Great weekend!

Sorry to hear about your Mom kawam and hope she's comfortable. Glad the surgery went well.

The cold spawned from the depths of hades has made a return appearance. Good thing the jealous boyfriend is acting as a foot warmer (yes, he has a fetish, sigh ).

Going back to bed, once the brat gets bored of me.

driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a
parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other
car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around
and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.
And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, "Why did you just do that? That guy almost ruined your car
and sent us to the hospital!"

This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "The Law of the
Garbage Truck."

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around
full of garbage -- frustration, anger, disappointment. As their garbage
piles
up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.

Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.

Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home,
or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take
over
their day. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who
don't."
