I have some April Wine and Marianas Trench photos from Brampton's Canada Day event, but they are BlackBerry pics from a distance so I won't even bother. April Wine weren't at their best, I don't think they could hear themselves well which threw off their pitch and tempo. Marianas Trench are actually not too bad. I sat on the lawn afterwards for about an hour while my daughter stood in the merch line to get a poster, t-shirt, autographs and a hug.

Geez, maybe I should have tried that 30 years ago with Annie Haslam.

Good morning Q sters...lovely morning. Hope the weekend is going well. Saw some fireworks last evening. On a sad note, a search was on for a missing swimmer in the lake. Comon occurence for long weekends. Off to hit some golf balls. Enjoy the day.

Morning all. Heading back from N.O.T.L. with one grandchild in tow . Looks like we are spending some time at the Zoo, Science Centre and Museum this week. We also saw Ragtime at the Shaw last night. Great theatre and a must see, for those who like theatre.

hope everyone had a great happy canada day, and happy pride day (going with that's just for me)
been remembering the past of those days,,, mom and my aunt and the gf in ottawa
we didn't even get close to the stage - but the fireworks----
try to imagine your back against a parliament cinder block and it shakes with every glorious blast
you see, and there are 20 minutes of it
hence always see fireworks in person -- silly me cut to the cbc live feed and hit pause,
apparently not a good idea - still at myself
