I heard from our absentee resident poet laureate. SillyLoocie misses everyone terribly & sends her love.

She's been kidnapped by Hallmark & is being forced to write verses for their new line of cards for dogs (& the cats who secretly love them). She's hoping to come back home soon to her SC family. In the meantime, she's running out of words that rhyme with Woof.

Better go see all I missed in SC land.

Good morning Q sters.....awesome weather now that things have cooled down. Off to the golf course. Opening 1/2hr later as the sun is not showing as early as it did.

Good morning Q crew! Yesterday was just so awesome, glad to hear so many of you enjoyed your long weekend. I have such a crazy busy week, just got a long script for an audition Thursday so have to remember a ton of lines. Then Saturday is my daughter's 15th b-day party and instead of wanting to go out to a rave like a normal teenager, she wants a CSI party at the house! Actually, I love throwing the kids wacky fun parties, we have done the Amazing Race, Survivor, Harry Potter, made a movie called "Kids of the Caribbean" with a plywood pirate ship cutout as the set and the list goes on. So most of my kids friends like to come to these extravaganzas even though they are getting older cause it is always insane.
For this party, I have set up a "training lab" where they will have to do a bunch of activities like fibre analysis, id-ing fingerprints, casting footprints and tire tracks, blood typing and blood splatter etc.
Then, when they are eating I am going to kidnap a teddy bear, leave a crime scene and they will have to use the what they have learned to find him.
Yes, I am totally nuts but the planning is great fun!
