I had season tickets for the leafs a long time ago when the game was still being played at Maple Leaf Gardens. We were up in the Greys. There were two girls in the seats behind us who also had season's tickets. They both had these air horns. They brought them to every game. We never knew when it was coming.

Needless to say. We did not renew our tickets the next year.

I really liked Maple Leaf Gardens....never lucky enough to have season's tickets, but my Dad used to get tickets from time to time & there were always scalpers lurking around.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

I ended up at the theatre this afternoon and watched a stage reading of The Chimes, a Dickens tale I wasn't familiar with (think It's A Wonderful Life meets A Xmas Carol). To make life perfect, I ran into an actor I have a crush on, who hugged me and wished me a Merry Xmas. Sigh. Drool. To top off the night, there were carollers at the Distillery dressed in Victorian costume.

Off to see what I missed.
