How is everyone doing tonight? I've been a little bit busy today, so I hope you don't mind that I did not cook dinner in an official capacity, but here it is.



Also, I took the easy way out when it came to selecting the perfect gift for Lobster. Only problem is that I have a tremendous weakness for chocolate, so I opened them & went a little overboard with the taste testing,



psells gets a communicator so he can stay in the loop at all times.



Now to get to that baking. I love baking, especially when I use old recipes.

Good Morning All and an early a.m. it was for me today. I ended up going to the Q Breakie, didn't find out I could go until late yesterday and didn't get home until around 10 p.m. so it was pretty last minute but I made it there by 5:45 a.m.!!!! It was fun they gave out lots of good prizes but didn't draw my name - darn!!! Oh well, I tried and will continue to try!!! Everyone got to leave with an EB games gym bag type thingie and a poinsetta though and tickets to the next 2 shows at the Sound Academy and mug. The breakfast was really good this time with loads of food, 3 different types of wraps etc etc etc., Ted Reader was there and did the cooking if that tells you anything.

Harrison, Shaun, Maureen, Ryan, John, Dominik etc were all there.

I've just walked over to the St. Lawrence Market area and will do some more shopping and walking before going home.

My wife and I went too, had a great time, we didn't win anything either, but brekkie was excellent and it's great to see everyone.

Walked around downtown until 4 today and then had to head back, too tired for carrying anymore stuff or anymore lineups. I like my poinsetta I got from the Q - I haven't bought one for years since they are poisonous to cats but this one is way up where they don't go so it will be okay. The bag they gave us will come in handy for overnight stays. It was fun and put me more in the holiday spirit. Watched the Russell Peters special tonight - funny.

I was expecting christmas cards inthe mail, but instead got crap from revenue Canada...
They want to adjust my mother's final tax return, which I filed in 2009 so that the income triples. I am stunned. There is more than one item. There is a T$, while I was quite certain that she didn't even leave her apartment, let alone go to work. Investment income from a bank that she only had a small checking account with. Mutual fund income that i though that I had paid a lot of tax on..
Holy crap! I might need professional help after this...and maybe a financial advice person, too.
It's just long enough ago that I have to look everything up, since it's not fresh in my mind...

man, leave it to the Government and tax returns to drive you nuts especially after someone passes away - the expense of the lawyers is nuts too - sorry you have to go through this BWW!!!

Hi my friends. I just finished watching the 1994 version of Miracle on 34th Street. Watched the 1947 version earlier this week. Guess I'm just an old softie; I love this movie. Always puts me in the Christmas spirit.

I'm one of those that hates winter & snow, but tonight it made me smile.
I guess wonders never cease, or is it a Christmas miracle.
