I have a turkey in the oven roasting away & the house is smelling invitin',
We decided to make a Family Day tradition, with a meal that is excitin',
Baked carrots with zucchini & a traditional potato mash,
Probably green beans or brussel sprouts to round out our bash,
I do love leftover turkey as it has such endless delicious potential,
The obligatory sandwich on fresh crusty bread is also a turkey lovers essential,
Turkey pot pie, turkey tetrazzini too & Loocie will make turkey soup just for you!
Turkey ala king - that has a nice ring & you'll love my curried turkey casserole just cause it has zing!
Happy Family Day to everyone & I hope your day is devine,
But it's a bit of a shame that Loocie forget to get wine.

    xx

Happy family day all. I'm spending it with my SC Family, is that ok?
Talk about cold - I was up in Barrie yesterday, and the temp was -12. With windchill it was -26! That's Winnipeg weather!
I ventured down the street to get a Tim's, and it was cold by the time I got back to the office.

I'll bring the wine Loocie. I need a lot of it right now.

It says wait 8 hours for it to cure before cutting excess, etc.
It's the stuff that smeared onto the window frame & walls that I'm worried about.
I'll tackle it tomorrow. Can't face it right now.

Great idea to have turkey on a day like today to warm up the house!
    Maybe next year...

Hicksy, not sure the brand of your product but I have used a small hand saw for the excess before, just have to be careful how close you get to the wall or trim. Needs to be a strong blade and maybe wear a scarf around your face or a mask of some kind.

Today is, Drink Wine Day(perfect for this group)! You thought wine was just for storing in a basement at a particular temperature, gathering dust. Pop a cork and let the sweet nectar of the gods breathe today, my friends.

He was in ecstasy with a huge, dopey smile on his face as his wife moved forwards, then backwards, forward, then backwards again....back and forth...back and forth...in and out....in and out.

She could feel the sweat on her forehead and between her breasts trickling down the small of her back; she was getting near to the end.

Her heart was pounding...her face was flushed...then she moaned; softly at first, then she began to groan louder. Finally, totally exhausted, she let out an almighty scream and shouted, "OK, OK! I CAN'T parallel-park the f.......... car! You do it, you SMUG !"
