Today's finale was a gift too; poor Rock couldn't hear it though

    Good morning, everyone.

The Florentine exhibit at the AGO is well worth seeing, if you have a chance.

D came over last night for a visit, so we chatted late into the night. Roommates and houseguest are all still asleep, so better stop typing before someone complains about me making too much noise (my bet is on the cat ).

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I'm glad you're back & that you have brought us the sun,
Winter was a grind for most everyone,
Warm tempertures mean patios, wings & beer,
Camping, cottages & fishing off the pier,
The mosquitoes may circle around your thinking cap,
But just wear a bug hat & take a long nap,
Maybe you'll BBQ on an authentic habachi grill,
Let the coals get hot while you relax & chill,
So glad McSkier agreed to let winter take leave,
Cause we all were ready for a deserving weather reprieve,
Get the rakes out & get onto those outdoor duties,
Crank up the tunes & shake your booties!
Maybe you're spending the weekend with your closest pal,
Just be kind to others as it does wonders for your morale.

Lovin' every minute of it. Lots of relaxing; although it's been a busy time with so many celebrations to enjoy. I think I'm back close to the earth again and thankful for the dog to give us a sense of a timetable! Looks like a great time to do some more yard clean up in the sunshine.
    Have a splendid w/end. Here's a thought for everyone's diet:

I was at the grocery store and eggs were on special; soI bought as many as i could only to meet with a messy disaster as i left the store spilling the eggcess from my basket between the automatic doors. I thought of the proverbial idiom that all of you know; then I remembered another related one:

There was a disaster during the running of the bulls when dozens of fans were trampled as they tried to get through a small gateway to escape - the moral "Don't try to get all your Basques in the same exit"

Good Afternoon had great plans for the weekend. Was going to finish the fiberlass parts for the boat, but woke up yesterday to back spasms. Last about 2 hours at work before I could not take it anymore. Little better today as I’m, at work but going home soon. Better be ok for Sunday as I have Toronto Rock playoff tickets. So good luck to the Rock and the Marlies who also start this weekend and also the playoff bound Leafs. I remember the erasers and the baby Blue Movies. Most were really bad, though I did like Shannon Tweed. Then Chas came on after the movies weird show. Have a nice weekend.
22 hicks that’s a lot of money for a repair. Any chance you can rent a sod cutter and roller. Peel back the grass, dump a couple of loads of top soil down roll, then grass down and then roll again. It would take out standing water.
Rockit – sorry no pictures or number, the wife would frown on that.
Hmjm61 – congrats on the new blue heart

Sorry about your back problems. Once it starts spasming, hard to get it to stop & then the pain radiates.
Since I've been sick, my cough pulled muscles in my ribs & it has radiated all the way down my right side, so I know what you're going through.
Really hope you feel better soon !!!!

I removed all the sod 2yrs ago, plus about 6" of clay; added a foot of top soil & re-sodded.
    Didn't work.
I still have 2 - 4 inches of water, so something a little more in-depth is needed.
Thanks for the suggestion. I really wish that would work.
