Happy Caturday Q sters,
looks like a nice morning so far. heard that TO & surrounding areas had flooding yesterday will all that rain. didn't get much but a drizzle in the Hammer & by the time i got home the sun was out & shining.
this is my last day of work for a week. on vacation as of 4:00:01. then i have the "honey do list" to finish from last year, stairs for the pool deck, some more lattice work & a general get rid of junk. maybe even get the kitchen floor put down. i'll need a vacation from my vaction when i'm done.

Good morning my Q friends. Have a wicked weekend.

No one showed up to SA last night except Karl. Mike White was amazing as usual. But the SA has changed major with the new owners. They frisk the men and check purses and bags, backpacks as usual on women or men also they check ciggie packs for doobies. I talked with Harrison the PR guy for Q about when the next concert is and it is not until August sometime. That's it for now not giving out tickys any more either. He said Corus won't put out the money for more shows. What a drag. Mike will be playing at some other place. something Palace. Not Lees. It will be on his facebook page. They have renovated the deck and everything is white. Seat cushions, umbrellas, the bar. They are definately expecting a different class of people. Not Rock and Rollers. It was all fenced off except for a small area. for the smokers. Crammed in like farm animals. It was ridiculous. Had a great time anyway. Karl and I rocked. The cheapest tickets for GnR is $135. Not a chance I'd pay that for any concert there. I'd love to see Everlast. But wouldn't spend the big bucks for such a small place.

Back in the day, it was so easy to tag along with Peter when he was going. I didn't have to make too many decisions, just be ready to go.

To commemorate International Kissing Day, my topic today is smooching,
& you ask someone to participate, as long as it isn’t mooching!
Kissing has such je ne sais quoi & it is a participation sport,
Just keep in mind that a decent kiss can set your dial to cavort,
Who doesn’t recall the discovery that a lip lock delivers such bliss?
& the places your mind can take you all because of a little kiss,
Necking with devouring passion; I mean the kind that made you tingle,
I think they called that making out, back when you were single,
Long ago I knew a guy whose kisses were reverent & adoring,
I couldn’t help but think to myself, is this they mean by scoring?
A kiss can be a peck upon the cheek of a dear platonic friend,
& we all know about wanton kisses & where those kisses can end,
There are many styles of kissing & some kisses are just dreamy,
I should probably end this poem soon, before it gets too steamy,
If you are going to be kissing today, make sure your breath is sweet,
& just remember to give it your all, & you don’t need a rumble seat.

Doesn't sound too promising with the new owners - hope they don't ruin it - Why is Michael White not playing there anymore?- I guess because chorus won't sponser anymore? It's been such a good venue to see a lot of good music... Did Michael say anything about it?

No Ecat It's not just Mike White it's Q107 not doing shows. Q is done there .There a couple shows ? Mike White in August sometime. No free tickets the new owners have different PR people. Don't give out tickets. Harrison said Q or Corus won't pay the $$$$$$$. Summer Bash was Canada DAY., WHICH WE WERE JUST AT. Some other company is promoting for the Hallowe'en bash even. Q is basically out. No free ticky's. Don't have any definate dates. Everlast and Guns and Roses are the only bands I recognized. 135$ for cheap GnR tickets.What a drag. Mike White is playing in some other bar in the city. Big Drag!!!!!!!!
