Hi Everyone...
Been Stupid-Busy...

Went to a Funeral on Friday.
A Friend (and His Sister and Brother) of the Wife and I lost Their Father.
It Surprised me when the Wife Called me when I was at w*rk to say that They were coming over for Dinner.
I did not Expect it, but was Happy that they Came Over.
The Wife did a most Excellent Job at putting Together a Wonderful Meal!!!!
Chicken... Salads... Roasted, Coated Potatoes... and a Brisket that Melted-in-the-Mouth.
Heaping Mounds of Berries for Desert.

Did Chores on Saturday.

On Psunday, I seemed to have Pinched my Upper-Back.
I was just SITTING!!!!!!!!

A Few Meds and I was out "Running" around.

1st Costco...
Then over to Visit with the Little Baby Girl.
Held Her for about 3x Hours... She seems to be Comfortable & Quiet with me, for some Reason(??).
After, we went over to our Friends' Family House to Visit as They are in Mourning.
That took care of a Chunk of the Evening.

My Back still Aches, but is Manageable.
Nothing Compared to Burden that Others are Carrying, so I will be Fine.

Good Morning All! Had one of those nights when you can't get to sleep but oh well, I always feel better if I'm going somewhere different. Gotta get the stuff together and hit the road hopefully quickly!!! Have a good one all!

Good Afternoon. I discovered they still do make weekends. Forthe first time in three months, I did not go to work for the boat or work. We spenta glorious Saturday on Lake Simcoe, getting burnt to a crisp!! By this time I usuallycould spend most of the day outside and not get burnt. But even with a 30 sunscreenI’m a little sore, and it feels great! SundayI did not work on the boat, just started on the trees and bushes, but have along way to go. With all the heat and rain it’s a jungle out there. At 9:00 am today dad called and he’s beingreleased. He was walking better yesterday, but has not tried stairs yet and he hasa big flight to go up to bed. He says nobut I’m going to move a bed into the family room just in case. He can be thetough guy next week. Have a great day.

HG - thanks for posting those pics; really, I had no idea. We had a little light rain, but that's all. Had no idea that the city got hit so hard. Scary.

One of our employees scared the begeezes out of me tonight...

I was leaving the office tonight just before 9... I had shut off the lights and was heading down the stairs near our front door and heard someone call my name.... I'm surprised I didn't take a tumble all the way down the stairs!! The employee forgot something at the office and he couldn't figure out why the alarm was not set so went looking for me... It felt like I was in a horror movie in the rain and in the dark, hearing my name being called... I think my heart has just calmed down back to normal!!!

I hope everyone was able to stay dry and out of the floods today....
