Ok this site has gone wacko!
If you have a banned word in a URL it won't accept it!
Lost my sigi, tried to post the picture, neither work above

this is what I get when I tried to re-save my signature with the URL above

But they publish the URL in words, just not the picture.
How totally stupid is that?

You are not allowed to call people accountable for their posts, that's bullying or something.
But they can't take a little competition, what a bunch of sucks.

Still feeling bleh, I seem to be running at 25% of normal in the mornings, but by afternoon I'm at 75%. Which is likely why the brats don't start complaining about the lousy service around here until dinner time.

Started organizing the kitchen yesterday and decided to take a nap or 2. That was the end of that idea. Here's hoping today brings a wee bit more energy, enough so I can see my countertops again.

Quincy is arguing with Lily again over the sunny spot. I know darn well that they happily sleep side by side when they don't have an audience, the brats.

Good afternoon my Q friends. Happy nPsychedelic Psunday. Looks like it's going to be a nice day. Haven't decided if I'm going to the Bacon Fest at Ashbridges.Bay Park. Thing is it ends at 2 pm.

Ok, I think we can all empathize with Mechman's frustration. I forgot about the Fl*g word. It is a carry over from a very long time ago, when this place began. Because the other site was in direct competition with Smart Canucks that is how it came to be. I wrote a Canada Poem one time & was suprised to see my reference to Canada's Fl*g was also censored. One of those words that is not allowed. Maybe it is something that can be changed now.

If you consider what has evolved for us as a group now. I am talking solely about this thread. I'm glad that many changes took place on here & that I had the opportunity to get to know some of you & even clink glasses. When the Q107 thread started off, there was never any references to birthdays, anniversaries, BBQ's, arrivals of grandchildren, BBQ's & events in our lives that brought us sadness. It was a post the winning words, pick some pigskins, find the sleuth word & move on out. Remember the days of blowing all your points to try & win a Sony Bravia or those idiotic slots?

We've also had our share of bickering back in the day & I'm glad that is behind us.

Mechman makes some valid points about people who have more than one persona. I have no doubt about that. They do not seem to on the Q107 Thread, but definitely there are some on other threads on Smart Canucks. I guess some people have a bit too much emptiness in their lives or too much time.


Now look at us, there isn't much Q107 business to take care of here. The sole reason this thread keeps on going is the people.

I'm not totally thrilled with the content on the Q these days & I am sure some of you will agree. I wonder what is next for the Q. Will they retool it again? Bring in a decent contest that will draw in listeners? Who knows?

I was thinking just the other day just what defines a Smart Canuck,
Are we a bunch of goofballs who like to run amuck?
We celebrate; we chat & chalk up milestones,
We’re sopranos & we’re tenors & even baritones,
We talk about sports & sometimes movie flicks,
& sometimes we will groan when we post giant pix,
We’re Moms, we’re Dads, and we’re daughters & sons,
We’re word-twisters, snow bees & we like to make puns,
We’re animal lovers & cooks, who have great imaginations,
& all of us are withstanding when it comes to temptations,
Some of us have been married for a very long, long time,
& some of us still have what it takes to keep us in our prime,
There are single parents who give their all & they’re always so busy,
& some of us need to slow down, or we’ll wind up in a tizzy,
We all have great taste in music & of course in fine cuisine,
& all of us know the hard way, that life can be so unforeseen,
We've grieved, we've wished, we've vented & ranted,
& sometimes we've thought others, have views that are slanted,
Some of us can even put a Smart Canuck face to a name,
Cause we've all seen the group shots that belong in a frame,
We all hope that absent friends come back & at least say hello,
