I hope this finds all of you in the happiest of September modes. I had such a great weekend. Went to a friend's place where upon arrival, all I could smell was the heavenly aroma of tomatoes simmering getting ready for canning. Lots of tomatoes! Next day they made tomato paste.
I was served, a wonder meal of fresh pacific salmon, fresh garden salad.... Gee, all my favourites. I even tried moonshine from one of the Southern States. Never in my life did I feel so zingy after half a glass - even cut with lots of club soda. If one wanted instant fun, it has potential.

My my friend & I baked raspberry squares. Yum!

I am so glad that Jake gets right in there to help. He does not mind getting a bit dirty..... Besides, there is a cure for DDD....(dirty damp dog) Syndrome & that is bath time! He looks so cute.

Good Afternoon. That was a great weekend, no boating for me but still great.We had two great BBQ’s with friends and ate and drank too much. Sunday’s BBQ came complete with fireworks as the neighbour's had them for the grand kids, and a there was lot of them, just under 1-1/2 hours and they never stopped. That was few bucks!!

On my way almost made it to Yonge Street but it keeps pouring rain! Oh well, I do have an umbrella. Was hoping to be able to take it easy by the beach (haven't stopped going places in at least a few weeks everyday) but then I heard it was going to rain so decided to walk downtown to get some money off some stuff I bought.

Was watching some videos the Humane Society has up on You tube, quite a few, one of me feeding a sweet little kitten, doesn't show my face but I know it's me!. It's great they put up videos of lots of animals up for adoption so you can see them playing etc. So many need homes........... Marlo the cat got a home, a volunteer adopted him, he had been there a long time and just last week a different volunteer was going to foster him to get him out of there for a while but now he has a home!!!!

Gotta run..........
