Good morning, everyone.
So, I didn't win the condo board election last night. The lady I lost to is very sweet & I quite like her on a personal level, but she's a bit naive and I worry that she might be manipulated by my crazy neighbour. I stayed to help clean up after the meeting (wine & cheese were served) and the few of us who usually do all the grunt work (4 left standing, er, sitting in the end) polished off 3 bottles of wine and the rest of the cheese & cookies. Didn't get home til after midnight, so the brats were a bit ticked I disturbed them and didn't bring them a doggy bag.
Think today will be devoted to housework. Well, this morning at least. Then the brats & I can enjoy the sunshine this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Does any one here ride the subway? It has been years for me and I am thinking about using it on the weekend to get to a shoot as the Gardiner is closed all weekend. I need to know how much time to allow to get from Kipling or Islington to Bay-is half an hour sufficient? Any advice is appreciated...

Good Morning, looks like a great start to the weekend. Hope to get in a little boating before packing it away next week as I will have to have the garage for storage for roofing materials.
Madchives- that is very sad news, my condolences
Jester – congrats on three years
Mechman – good luck with your tickets tomorrow

Hello on this beautiful Friday. It's the weekend once again...
A good friend of mine lost her husband yesterday. He passed away after a long struggle with a rare liver disease...only 58 with so many years ahead of him. There son just got married this month & his passing though not unexpected has hit his family hard. There are things in life that are so very tragic. I sometimes liken it to being cut off by a crazed driver & your only option is to end up in the ditch - through no actions of your own doing or making.
I am sorry for you Madchives too. It's very sad for you & I hope your family is supporting one another.
Appreciate all that you can people.
xx
