sorry i missed a lot of things happening here,
but my last aunt's funeral was on sunday,
her kids were able to do a terrific service,
a lot had something to say about their mom and
grandmom, i swear i needed a box of kleenex for
myself, geee.
they had dove pins and flower blotters to plant,
for us to take as doreen so loved gardening,
and a pair of love birds were there during the service.
open casket that i couldn't look at, doreen was so small
etc, - damn cancer.

So nice to see the sun again!

I'm off to hang out with the thespians today - looking forward to it, since it's been a year since I've helped out at the theatre. A bit nervous, but also really excited. We'll see what the brats have to say about me being gone for a few hours.

What an awful day today, but I'm finally home.

I've been stuck in a parking lot since early this afternoon with a flat tire, and with nothing around. No restaurant, no coffee shop, nothing. I waited for 7 hours for CAA. They called me about every hour and said they should be there within the hour, so I waited & waited. Their 9:00 call said they couldn't get to me till @ least 2 in the morning. Finally, I just took a cab home, which cost me $78.00 !!!! Believe me, I'm cold, tired and hungry !!!
To make matters worse, I'll have to take a cab back tomorrow to meet them.

What an ordeal - they should be sub-contracting if they're that busy. I am impressed that they at least kept calling you back though. I gather there's no bus service in that area?

new glasgow is where my dad grew up and i visited so often it was my second home,
granted we were in town, not somewhere i don't recognize

Hi every1. I'm home to stay. Thanks for all your concern.
CAA picked me up this morning, since I had such a long wait last night.
They put on the spare, & followed me back into the city. Car's @ the dealership, but tire is not repairable.
There was a 4" slash on the inside​ of the white wall. They had to order a new tire, & it comes in tomorrow.
