Today is double dip hump day. Jays play a double header due to the game being rained out last night. Thanx to the Yankees loosing, Jays only need 1 game, but what the hey, let's take 2.

ETFO Negotiations Back On

The Elementary Teachers Federation Of Ontario is returning to the bargaining table with the province. Union President Sam Hammond accepted an offer from the province to resume talks. Hammond says Education Minister Sandals “has called upon ETFO to return to the bargaining table. ETFO has been ready to return to the table for two weeks to bargain a fair and reasonable collective agreement specific to ETFO members."

Airlines Urged to Seat Parents and Kids Together

The push is on to stop the practice of airlines seating young kids separately from their parents on flights. The transportation minister has reportedly written to all Canadian carriers saying logic should prevail here, it only makes sense they would sit together. No legislation is being proposed here, she says she wants to see an industry led solution.

Blue Jays Clinch Tie For AL East Title After Red Sox Beat Yanks

The Toronto Blue Jays were rained out on Tuesday but still clinched at least a tie for the American League East title when the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 10-4 in the Bronx. The Jays can officially wrap up the crown with a single win or New York loss this week.

​I am holding my own with this damn Cancer. I'm very tired of it, but I am very fortunate that I am still giving *it* a run for *its* money. The frequency of my visits into downtown T.O. are part of the protocol for the drug study (clinical trial), every 2 weeks seems like a lot sometimes. I just wish my mobility was better. I deal with pain from time to time, but there are people who are so much worse off than I am.

So Cycle 10 of my treatment has begun. I hope that I can get through this without too many side effects.
