Good morning, everyone.

Still recovering from the party Sat night (my friend and I figured we'd been on our feet 17ish hours before we called it a night ). A couple of grumbly neighbours (why is it starting so late, why don't you have a or b or c, etc), but for the most part, all had fun. The food got devoured, so couldn't have been that bad, even with me in the kitchen heating things up (I'm sooo not domestic).

Off to my Mom's later today, after I help out at the theatre. Brats have already packed up their things and are waiting at the door - seems someone overheard me talking to my friend about chauffeur services and is excited. Forget Santa, car rides are far more exciting.

Still have a couple of presents to wrap (forgot about a few little items - it's hard to wrap when one has a feline assistant who is obsessed with the ribbons one tries to use).

I should be back online this year. Critters might decide to stay with my Mom and have a longer vacation (it can be hard to drag the sort one away from the catnip plant ).

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! We'll be having cabbage rolls and strudel (other items mentioned, but those are the ones that I'm excited about). And liver treats. For the brats, not the humans. At least, I hope not (I haven't been *that* naughty this year).

Yay! Its my last day at work until the new year. Hopefully 5:00 will roll around faster so I can start with the Christmas festivities...

Oh, and wrapping presents. I hate wrapping as much as shopping. Perhaps I should pay 50 bucks to a kid to wrap my presents for me.

I just have one more store to go to at lunchtime today. I have to return an hat and t-shirt that I bought for my son yesterday. My wife told me that they were too small. Crap! I thought I was finished with shopping.

Well folks, I didn't want to sound like a Scrooge. I'm really not miserable today.

Cheat, get a gift bag & some tissue paper. Wrap the tissue around the item & put it in the bag. Presto, all done. Don't need to find tape, scissors or paper. Bags are reusable for net year too.
