into the paranormal?

i have always believed in ghosts,i have had several experiences,just wondering,do any of you believe? not believe? i want your opinions...

i have seen things and i have experienced things that led me to form a group in my town.a paranormal group...

let me know your experiences and your skepticism.....

when i was 3 my mom told me i asked about "ronnie" all the time and seeing "ronnie"...she said it was my uncle who died very young,before i was born...

when i was in high school i was gothic,i liked cemeteries,still do...anyhow i felt compelled to upkeep my mom's dad who i never met,who drank himself to death's grave....just kept making it nice and always going to him to talk to...

my friend and i were in his basement suite talking and joking,i was half asleep,he said i fell asleep and he went upstairs...then i looked next me as i woke up in the dark in the basement and saw my grandfather,my mom's dad who i never met,he told me to not cry for him and that he would keep me safe...i woke up almost as if i was dreaming..i could feel his skin,hold his hand,turned on the light.no none there.my friend was sound asleep..


another one is i went into a house in fort edmonton park....there was a 20's style bathroom...when i looked into it i got abd feeling immediately...i turned away but in the corner of my eye i saw blood....this is normal to me....i see things all the time

my uncle died just recently,and we went to his funeral,and he loved eagles....we saw eagles all that weekend,following us all the way home to alberta..i would like to think it is him... anyhow...sorry for the long post...

I've never seen an apparition that's clear enough to be a person, but I have had experiences.

Not sure if I posted this before, but I was staying over at my boyfriend's house and the room was pitch black and an xbox game case went flying across the room. We heard it hit the door but didn't see it fly because it was dark. Still scared the bejeezus out of me.

I believe in ghosts and the paranormal to some extent. I believe in ghosts and spirits but I don't believe in the walking dead or anything, that's just stupid.

Here is one for you..

I worked for the school board in Ottawa for 20 years prior to our car accident.. and one night I was in a school by myself which doesn't bother me, But anyways it was about 10:15.. quitting time was 11.. So I thought I'd walk around the building to check it. (as we are suppose to) So I thought I would turn out all the lights in the school first except right in front of the custodial office.. and off I went after turning out all the lights and then went outside to check all the doors anbd windows were locked.

Came back in, made myself a cup of coffee in the office, and sat down and to play solitaire.. When I began hearing children playing clear as day.. I waited for a moment, went around the corner, Gym doors are open, there are toys on the floor.. gym doors to outside were open, lights are on.. Kinda scared me..

Few days later I was talking to my sister in law.. and was telling her, she asked me what day it was.. I told her.. it was the day that these two little children were gunned down by their father. She worked the inquest about this matter..

So I figure, the school was a safe place for them.. Never happened to me again.. But as I tell this story now and then, the hairs on my arm stand straight up.. I have heard of other stories about other schools in our district, but never saw them..

Ohh, I love this stuff, and I defininately believe!

I think many people are more "in tune" with the universe.
It is my personal belief as well, that when we pass on, we don't completely leave, but change form per say. Scientists will tell you that matter can never be destroyed, but only change form.
I have a playful spirit about 12 years ago that I was never afraid of, and almost became part of the house lol.
It used to turn the lamp on late at night. 3 times when my MIL was sleeping over on the couch! She did not welcome it as i did lol!
It used to "play" with my daughters musical toys, sometimes when we were in bed, and we'd here them in the living room, and sometimes even while we were steps away watching T.V.!
Not sure if it was the same lil dude (same house, same time frame), but often when I was washing dishes, or cooking, I would feel someone squeezin my butt! totally felt real, and when i'd turn to swat my BF, there would be noone there lol.

I also saw what I believe to be an evil being of some sort, but I will not share because it's 1:30, and i'll just freak myself out lol.

i totally believe that there are beings, but they aren't ghosts or ppl's wandering spirits.
i find the wandering spirit theory quite unvelievable. if God created us with souls, and God has made it so that our souls are lifted when we die, then how is it that some ppl's souls wander? that would be saying that our souls are in control, and not God. God is smarter than that

The beings that are mischevious are something else, another being that God created.

Ahhhh!! Thank you, Anisa! I knew others on here were better at finding threads than me! And I even posted in it! Yes, it WAS a very good discussion!

But I'm sure there was another one....I think we were talking about our pets being aware of 'others' around them...darned if I can find that one, either!! Grrr!
