It's all in fun

For those interested, there's this perspective from http://blogs.edmontonjournal.com/201...boston-bruins/
*warning: this article will not appeal to Canucks fans. sorry
...Of Boston’s 19 regular players (those who have appeared in more than 10 playoff games), 14 are Canadian, including star players such as Nathan Horton, Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic. Only five of the Bruins regulars — Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas, Dennis Seidenberg, Tomas Kaberle and David Krejci — aren’t Canadian.
If you look at Vancouver’s 19 regulars, just 11 of them are Canadians. Their best players, the Sedins and Ryan Kesler, aren’t from here...
so I guess if you look at it that way, not a big difference in numbers, though interesting if looking at the star players.

Interesting Ipos Reid poll: Vancouverites more excited about Stanley than the Olympics
...More than 80 per cent of British Columbians said they're excited for the Vancouver Canucks' trophy bid, according to results of an Ipsos Reid poll released Tuesday.
...Results of a similar poll conducted in February 2010 suggested slightly more than half of the province's residents couldn't wait for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver to begin...
...Mossop noted after both Montreal and Calgary hosted the Olympic Games, both cities' NHL teams went on to win the hockey trophy the following year.
``It looks like Vancouver Canucks fans want to make that a bona fide Canadian tradition,'' he said...

i have also been a fan of 'where are the players from'
but got into, who are they playing for - especially after
the sudin's interview, (and a hospital with kids, that they
donate too)
and another interview with an 83 year old fan of the canucks.
am very distressed at that illegal and hopefully not career-
ending hit on nathan horton - can never imagine what rome
was thinking, if he was,,,
go canucks go
lol all I can say...
Well, it's a new series now, best of 3. Bad trip to beantown for the Canucks. Bruins will by no means have an easy time with the rest of the series, though. The Canucks are an outstanding team who play outstanding hockey at home. And 2 of the next 3 are in Vancouver. This will be a tough series for either team. I did not appreciate the silliness in this game and I hope they can play the rest of the series without it. I hope the coaches of both teams put a stop to it.
I wonder if Luongo will start Friday night?
Sorry to hear you're not enjoying these games, Dave!
I knew you were holding back! :)
It will be interesting to see if they give Luongo another chance to choke on Friday. The look on his face on the bench was priceless!
