    Hi all,
    it is movie night tonight, i am about to see Iron Man 2, but when i tried to buy the ticket on line, i found there are two types i can choose, digital and regular (without the word "digital"). do you know what's the difference? and which one is better.
    it might not be the place to post this, but i belive you can help me with that, thanks

    No idea, but the movie was awesome! hahah!I saw it Sunday, my bf couldn't wait for tonight to see it luckily he paid for me too!!!

    digital might be the imax version. regular should be fine if you are going to a cineplex/famous player location.

    i just bought the tickets...
    but still one more question, are all the cinemas supposed have Tuesday half price? i found out Scarborough town center and fairview mall they have regular price, and the eglinton center has half price.
    it is so strange....

    digital is 3d. you can see it in regular or 3d. I saw avatar in real d digital 3d at my ciniplex, but they were also playing it regular as in not 3d

    Digital means better sound, better picture, its not 3D though

    Nope. Mandie has it correct. Different sound, etc. Imax is also completely different, but keep in mind this movie was not shot on Imax film. No need to waste the money to see it in IMAX.



    As for cheap night. Not all theatres have cheap nights. Morningside has Tues night cheap night. Something like 4.95 a ticket and you can get a good deal for a ticket and popcorn/drink. Something like 10.00

    the movie ironman2 is really really great .. i watched it until the cinema closes..i end up having runny nose the day after ..
    the cinema is so cold and i forgot my jacket ..

    digital means 3D.

    Iron Man was not released in 3D and digital does not mean 3D.
