Just wanted to say thank you to whomever sent me a RAOK. It was greatly appreciated!

Posted this in a few other places, but I know how generous the people who follow this thread are, so here goes!
My DH is on strike with the rest of the Full-Time Support Staff here at our Ontario Colleges. We're doing okay thanks to SC. I've got a good stockpile and I've saved enough these past two months couponing that I can cover most of our rent.
However DH came home to day very depressed because there are a lot of people who won't be doing so well if the strike drags on long. There are a lot of single mothers who work in the cafeteria or the book store who only make $11/hour.
So I told him that when he goes in on Friday, I'm sending him with a big envelope full of all my September expiry coupons. It's not much, but it's what we can afford.
So I encourage anyone living in Ontario near one of these colleges to go and drop off some coupons. I know they'd appreciate the support and the savings.
Thanks!!

Evening all, haven't been around at home much to send out anyenvies. Am on the road again right now. I am visiting some friends in Kelowna BC. and when I get back, I have a bunch of new coupies to send out to lots of people. Will be back next week and I love reading all the posts. Keep up the fabulous work.
I was at LD Westbank today with my DH, and I must say, the CSM there is probably on of the nicest people I have ever talked to. She was telling me how they loved their "Coupon Ladies" and that they try to do everything they can to assist them

WOW, what a change from most of the things I have heard about US
COUPONERS!
I am going back there tomorrow with my stacks to see what I can do, and am actually excited. I am going to purchase several things, and then give most of them to her as they will all pretty much be free. She was so nice!!!
Flowers for you! She really mad my day as I wasn't feeling so well today! Have a great one everyone!

Today at RCSS I was able to give a mom with a new born baby some pamper diaper coupons. Later, at the check out, a young man beside me had those crest white strips and low and behold I remembered I had one of those coupons and was able to gift him eight dollar off. As I was packing my groceries in the car, he thanked me again. Made my day!

Ended up with a large freezer bag full of coupons for the strikers at the college! And there are some other people mailing me coupons with Sept expiries as well. Hopefully they can get some use out of them, and maybe we'll get another SCer or two from the experience!

I was at WM this morning with my coupons, I saw a couple putting in pullups in their cart. I stop gave my 2 pullups coupons to them. It was an great having finding someone to use those coupon since I won't be able to. Then I was looking for $3 airwick starer kit, which I found (got it for free with $3 coupon), I saw a lady picking up airwick scented oit. I gave her my $1 off coupon. I don't use airwick scented oil anymore since it uses electricity. I don't even know why I got it. I guess it was free, why not get it.

Thank you for your kindness. After reading this sites for weeks, it's so nice to see just a positive perspective and the desire to help and support and encourage each other.

I love hearing of RAOK in theses days and times. I live in a community where the biggest private employeers have folded in the last couple of years and there are a lot of people struggling--many of my former coworkers are beginning to face losing their houses and are forced to utilize the food bank. So I have a weekly donation to the foodbank knowing it will likely be helping my brothers and sisters out there..
I RAOk here and in the stores as well...I dint have much but I know I have more than a lot so I think it's my duty to help out
my next project is collecting to make 30-50 baskets of essentials for the local mens shelter and our Elizabeth Frye branch
giving and donating what I can makes me gleeful <3
