I posted previously about how my WM (Courtenay BC) gave me kind of a hassle on buying the trial Iams to donate to the shelter. They "let it go" that one time (about a week ago) and I figured I would try again today because like everyone on here said they can't just refuse the coupon for no reason. Well I went back today to try again and no success. The supervisor told me that that particular store will no longer take coupons on trial sizes. WHAT THE HELL? I am going to call head office on Monday because I can't see how they can just make their own rules. Just because a bad few took advantage does not mean that they can just refuse these coupons. I am so frustrated at my WM. They were not even going to give me my three boxes of eggos because I had three FPC. They are a mess.
Anyone else having problems like this? I see lots of posts and brags about getting trial sizes at WM and am kinda jealous! This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by spinknas; Sat, Jun 11th, 2011 at 09:02 PM.

Can you let people know what location you are talking about? Thanks!

Where is this? I would definitely call head office, walmarts are not franchises that can make up their own rules. Call head office and make them sort it out. Sorry about your luck

No, my Walmart never gives me a problem at all! I have bought lots of trial sized products and I used multiple FPC in one transaction (like 20 at a time) They are making their own rules and that`s not cool at all! They have a coupon policy for a reason and they should be following it! Goodluck calling head office on Monday. Hopefully, they will inform them properly!

Its sounds like that store is very strict on coupons, yikes. Is there another wm around you can try? I try and use my coupons on full size items when they go on sale, less hassel but yeah lots of people are getting good trail size deals.

It is the Courtenay BC walmart and unfortunately the other nearest one is about 30-35 minutes away but that one IS a supercentre so Im almost thinking it might be worth the hassle to go there every week instead.

ya i doubt they'd care either but the management is also rude about it! I dont know if you've had any problems with them but if you haev, even complaining about that would be a start i guess because I'm pretty sure. They are allowed to refuse coupons but they dont haev to be so rude about it. but there are some people that do take advantage of it i guess. others probably just ruined it for the rest of us. coz i went in a while ago, when the new policy first came out and it was fine and it just slowly got worse but we are in a small city with a lot of couponers.
and ya ive been thinking about trying to find someone to take a nanaimo trip with coz probably there lol
