I was in Shoppers here in Belleville 2 weeks ago and the cashier was having problems with one of my coupons and she apologized and said we just got new computer systems so we're trying to get the hang of it.

seems that if all stores got the new computer systems then perhaps the system has adjusted for the $50 subtotal before/after coupons are added...either way I'm going to spend $50 after coupons just to be safe. With a busy event like this I'd hate to have a line up of people and not have enough for the sale and have her void it out or run back to get more stuff.

Does anyone know, do ALL stores give the 500 pts on a GC? I'm wondering if the new computer systems prevent this? Has anyone bought one and got the points in the last 2 weeks?

Interesting point about signing something, I didn't read the agreement but doesn't it probably say somewhere that they reserve the right to change their policies at any time or take all your points away, or end the program completely, for basically whatever reason they feel like? Did anyone see the Southpark where apple starts kidnapping people because they agreed to it in the terms and conditions? Maybe I should start reading the fine print afterall...

Getting points on the SDM gift cards is in the terms and conditions. So it would require changing the terms and conditions in order to not get them.

I didn't buy one but I did ask at SDM in Peterborough on Saturday and they told me that NO, you do not get points for buying a GC...I should have just bought it anyways to see b/c my bill was over $50 after coupons
